Initial Use
Unpack the product and clean all parts before the first use following the cleaning instructions.

Usage

  1. Always use the lid, steel baking form, and stainless steel base tray together. Do not use these parts individually.
  2. To bake/roast food:
  3. Place the steel baking form on the stainless steel base tray.
  4. If using the silicone baking form, place it inside the steel baking form.
  5. To steam food:
  6. Put water in the steel baking form.

In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

  • The product is intended for baking, cooking, heating up or steaming food on a hob.
  • The product is only suitable for use on the following hob types:
    • Gas hob
    • Electric hob
    • Halogen hob
    • Glass-ceramic hob
  • The product is not suitable for use on an induction hob.
  • Any other use and any product modification is prohibited and can lead to injuries and product damage.
  • The manufacturer is not liable for any damages caused by any use other than for the intended purpose.
  • The product is intended for private use only. The product is not intended for commercial use.

Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition. Remove all packaging materials before use.

Safety instructions

SAVE ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!

  • The product becomes very hot during use. Use oven mitts or BBQ gloves for your protection. The gloves have to meet the requirements for category II heat protection (e.g. DIN EN 407). Do not use pointy or sharp objects on the product.
  • Do not cut or scratch the surface of the product. This may damage the product. Familiarise yourself with the proper operation of your hob.
  • The product is not microwave-proof.
  • The product is not oven-proof.
  • If you use the product on a gas hob, make sure that the product has a secure stand.
  • The product is not suitable for a dishwasher. The product may deform/warp when heating. The product returns to its original shape when cooling off.
  • Never submerge the product in cold water while it is still hot. The temperature shock may damage the product. Do not fill the hot product with cold water to avoid deformation.
  • Allow hot oil to cool down to room temperature before cleaning.
  • Caution: Ice crystals on frozen foods may cause hot oil to splatter.
  • Do not place meat which is still dripping with liquid into hot fat. The fat splattering out on to a hot hob could easily cause a fire.
  • Do not overheat the product to prevent the non-stick effect from weakening due to damage to the coating.
  • Avoid dropping the product. The product is not break-proof. This may affect the product’s ability to function properly.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged.
  • Do not use the product without any food inside. High temperatures may discolour the exterior of the product. This does not indicate faulty material or impact the quality or function of the product.
  • FOOD-SAFE! The flavour and aroma of your foods are not affected by this product.
  • Avoid foods with high acid and/or salt content. Do not leave the product unattended during use.
  • Hot steam may rise from the ventilation holes in the lid. When removing the lid, turn your face away.
  • When baking bread or other food that will rise or expand, only fill the product up to the half of its height.
  • Do not overfill the product. Leave a space of at least 1.5 cm to the top edge.
  • Ensure that the lid knob is securely tightened before using. Do not use the lid if the knob is loose. Retighten the knob immediately if it becomes loose during use.

First use

Unpacking the product and basic cleaning

  1. Take the product out of the packaging and remove all packaging materials and plastic wrappings.
  2. Check to make sure that all listed parts are included (see “Scope of delivery”).
  3. Check whether the product and all parts are in good condition, if any damage or defect is detected, do not use the product, but follow the procedure described in chapter “Warranty”.
  4. Before first use, clean all parts of the product as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.

Use

Always use the lid [1], steel baking pan [4] and stainless steel bottom tray [5] together. Do not use any of these parts individually.

Baking/cooking food

  1. Place the stainless steel bottom tray [5] on a level surface.

  2. Place the steel baking pan [4] on the stainless steel bottom tray [5].

  3. Use with silicone baking pan: Place the silicone baking pan [2] into the steel baking pan [4] Use without silicone baking pan:
    Grease the inside of the steel baking pan [4] or line it with baking paper.

  4. Add the food into the product.

  5. Cover the product with the lid [1].

  6. Place the product on the centre of a hob.

  7. Switch on the hob. The heat level and time for baking/cooking depend on the food and the hob.

  8. Once baking/cooking is done, carefully remove the product from the hob. Switch offthe hob.

  9. Place the product on a heat-resistant surface.

  10. Carefully remove the lid [1].

  11. Carefully remove the food from the product.

  12. Let the product cool down.

Heating up/steaming food

  1. Place the stainless steel bottom tray [5] on a level surface
  2. Place the steel baking pan [4] on the stainless steel bottom tray [5].
  3. Steaming food: Add water into the steel baking pan [4].
  4. Place the stainless steel oven grid [3] into the steel baking pan [4].
  5. Place the food on the stainless steel baking grid [3].
  6. Cover the product with the lid [1].
  7. Place the product on the centre of a hob.
  8. Switch on the hob. The heat level and time for heating up/steaming depend on the food and the hob.
  9. Once heating up/steaming is done, carefully remove the product from the hob. Switch off the hob.
  10. Place the product on a heat-resistant surface.
  11. Carefully remove the lid [1].
  12. Carefully remove the food from the product.
  13. Let the product cool down.

Recipes

Apple cake

Ingredients

120 g Apples (peeled and cut into small pieces)
2 Eggs
50 g Caster sugar
20 g Butter (melted)
100 ml Milk (semi-skimmed)
100 g Flour
20 g Baking powder

Preparation

  1. Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add flour and baking powder and mix well.
  3. Add melted butter and caster sugar and mix well.
  4. Add milk and mix well.
  5. Add apple pieces to the cake batter.
  6. Pour the cake batter into the silicone baking pan [2].
  7. Cover the product with the lid [1].
  8. Bake the apple cake at small to medium heat for 30 minutes.
  9. Check if the apple cake is baked thoroughly.
Pasta au gratin

Ingredients

200 g Pasta (dry)
200 ml Cream
150 g Cooked ham (cut into small pieces)
100 g Cheese (grated)
2 Onions (finely diced)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
Optional Herbs (minced)

Salt and pepper
Butter

Preparation

  1. Pre-cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the packaging.
  2. Fry the onions, garlic and cooked ham in a pan. Add cream into the pan and bring it to the boil briefly. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  3. Optional: Add herbs to the sauce.
  4. Grease the inside of the steel baking pan [4] with butter.
  5. Add the pasta into the steel baking pan [4].
  6. Pour the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Cover the product with the lid [1].
  8. Bake the pasta au gratin at low heat for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
BBQ chicken wings

Ingredients

1 kg Chicken wings
120 ml Barbecue sauce

Preparation

  1. Add the chicken wings and barbecue sauce in a bowl. Toss well to coat the chicken wings with the sauce.
  2. Add the chicken wings into the steel baking pan [4].
  3. Cover the product with the lid [1].
  4. Cook the chicken wings at medium heat for 35 minutes. Flip the chicken wings over occasionally so that they cook evenly.
  5. Check if the chicken wings are cooked thoroughly.
  6. Optional: After flipping the chicken wings over, glaze them with more sauce.
  7. We recommend to serve the chicken wings with salad and ranch dressing for dipping.

Cleaning

CAUTION! Always allow the product to cool down before cleaning. Do not use any abrasive, aggressive cleaners or hard brushes to clean the product. The product is not suitable for dishwashers.

  1. Before initial use and after each use: Clean the product with warm water and a mild cleaning detergent.
  2. Soak the product in warm water and a mild cleaning detergent, if required.
  3. Dry the product off thoroughly.

Storage
Before storage: Clean the product (see “Cleaning”). Store the product in the original packaging when it is not in use. Store the product in a cool, dry, and well‑ventilated place.

Disposal

  • The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
  • Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
  • The product incl. accessories and packaging materials are recyclable and are subject to extended producer responsibility.
  • Dispose them separately, following the illustrated Info-tri (sorting information), for better waste treatment.
  • The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Warranty

  • The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
  • The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.  Any damage or defects already present at the timeof purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
  • Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
  • This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
  • The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.

No, always use the steel baking form along with the stainless steel base tray for safe and proper functioning.
