INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING MEALS
The hot air fryer is designed for heat treatment of food without the use of oil or other fats. Do not pour oil or other liquids into the fryer.
-
Place the food in the frying pan with the grid.
- Note: It is not possible to put more food into the container than the maximum capacity.
-
Place the food container in the body of the hot air fryer.
-
Plug the fryer into the mains, select the programme, temperature and time, see “Food preparation table”, and start with the z button.
-
An audible signal sounds when the programme is finished. Check if the dish is done, if necessary, put the container back and bake for a few more minutes.
-
If you will no longer be using the fryer, switch it off, unplug it from the mains and allow it to cool down properly before cleaning.
Note- Frozen food must be defrosted in advance and processed immediately.
- We recommend shaking some foods halfway through the cooking time. In this case, pull the container out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then return the container to the fryer. Tip: If you set the timer for half the cooking time, an audible signal will alert you when the food is supposed to be shaken. However, this means that you must then set the timer again for the remaining cooking time.
-
If you remove the frying container from the fryer body during operation, the appliance will automatically stop. When the container is returned, the fryer automatically switches on and continues with the originally set programme.
- Tip: During use, you can adjust the temperature or time to your liking. Your settings will last approximately 60 minutes after the frying pan is removed from the body.

FOOD PREPARATION
The table below will help you to prepare different meals and to set up the
fryer correctly.
Note: Please note that due to the varying quality and size of food, the settings below are approximate. Because Rapid Air technology instantly heats the air inside the appliance, removing the fryer from the appliance during frying will hardly interrupt the cooking process.
Tips
- When preparing food, take into account the size and quantity of the food you are preparing. Depending on their size and quantity, we recommend the following time period compared to the values shown in the table:
- Shorten – in the case of processing smaller foods or smaller quantities.
- Extend – when cooking larger foods or larger quantities.
- Shaking the smaller ingredients halfway through the cooking time optimizes the final result and can help prevent uneven browning.
- To make the fries crispy, add a little oil to them and fry immediately.
- Do not cook very fatty ingredients such as sausages in a hot air fryer.
- Snacks that can be prepared in the oven can also be prepared in a hot air fryer.
- The optimal quantity for the preparation of crispy fries is 500 grams.
- Use pre-made pastry dough for quick and easy preparation of stuffed pastries. Pre-made dough also requires less preparation time than homemade dough.
- If you want to bake a cake or quiche or if you want to fry crispy or filled desserts, place a baking tray or mould (not included) in the hot air fryer.
- You can also use the hot air fryer to heat food. To reheat the ingredients, set the temperature to 150 °C and the time to 10 minutes.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Possible cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
The hot air fryer is not working. | The appliance is not connected to the | |
mains. | Plug the mains lead into a socket. | |
The appliance does not contain a frying pan. | Place the frying pan in the |
correct position.
You have not switched on the appliance with the power button.| Press the power
button on the appliance.
You didn’t set the time.| To switch on the appliance, set the desired cooking

evenly.
The set temperature is too low.| Press the + temperature setting button to set
the desired temperature (see chapter “Food preparation”).
The cooking time is too short.| Press the timer control button + for the
desired cooking time (see chapter “Food preparation”).
The food is fried unevenly.| Some ingredients need to be shaken halfway
through the preparation.| Ingredients that lie on top of each other or over
each other (e.g. chips) should be shaken halfway through cooking. See the
table in the chapter “Food preparation”.
The food is not crispy when removed from the fryer.| You have fried a dish to
be prepared in a traditional deep fryer.| For crispier results, use oven-safe
dishes or brush the ingredients lightly with oil.
The fryer cannot be inserted into the appliance.| There are too many
ingredients in the container.| Do not fill the fryer beyond its maximum
quantity, see table above.
The basket is not inserted correctly in the frying container.| Push the basket
into the container until you hear a click.
There is white smoke coming from the appliance.| You’re preparing fatty
ingredients.| When frying fatty ingredients in a deep fryer, a large amount of
oil escapes into the container. The oil produces white smoke and the container
may get hotter than usual. This does not affect the appliance or the end
result.
The frying pan still contains residual fat from previous use.| The white smoke
is caused by the heating of the fat in the vessel.
Clean the container properly after
each use.
Problem | Possible cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
The fries are fried unevenly in the fryer. | You didn’t use the right type of | |
potato. | Use fresh potatoes and make sure they remain firm during frying. | |
You did not rinse the sliced potatoes properly before frying. | Rinse the |
potatoes properly to remove the starch.
The fries are not crispy when removed from the fryer.| The crispiness of the
fries depends on the amount of oil and water in the potatoes.| Before adding
the oil, make sure you have dried the sliced potatoes properly.
Cut the potatoes into smaller pieces to make them crispier.
Add a little oil for a crispier result.
