HOW IT WORKS

The solar panel on top of the product charges the built-in rechargeable battery in just 5-6 hours. During the day, the solar panel converts sunlight into stored electricity and automatically illuminates for 6-12 hours once night falls. All you need to do is switch it ON, install it in the desired position, and enjoy the light in the evening.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Connect part 1 with part 2 by pushing the lamp head onto the pillar. Connect it to part 3 by pushing the spike into the pillar. (Fig.1)
2. Press the button on the back of the lamp once to switch it on. (Fig.2) Changing the lighting mode: Pressing the switch once: Dim light, the light will stay on for 12 hours if the battery is fully charged. Pressing the switch twice: Bright mode, the light will stay on for 6 hours if the battery is fully charged.
3. Push the spike into the ground. The LED bollard light will automatically turn on at night.

Note : Place the lamp away from other light sources, bright lights can prevent it from automatically illuminating. Place the lamp where it can get 5-6 hours of direct sunlight.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

To ensure your light’s optimal performance, we recommend replacing the battery every 1.5-2 years. Just be sure to open the housing unit with care and replace it with the same 3.7-volt, 2200mAh #18650 battery.

1. The battery is located underneath the solar panel. To get access to the battery, unscrew the back cover of the light.
2. Carefully open the compartment and check if the wires are intact.
3. Remove the old battery and replace it with 1 new 3.7V 2200mah #18650 lithium battery.
4. Close the battery compartment and place back the cover with screws. Make sure it’s properly sealed.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• The light is designed to be waterproof, so it can be used in every weather condition.
• Not sure if the light is on? Simply cover the solar panel with your hands to make it dark, the lamp should light up. If it doesn’t then let it charge for 5-6 hours and test again.
• With a full charge of 5-6 hours the light should illuminate for 6-12 hours. But weather, sun intensity and temperature can affect the working time.
• If the lights lose illumination time or intensity then check if the solar panel is dusty. To guarantee a consistent glow, the solar panel needs to be cleaned every 3 months.
• The light is designed to turn on by itself in night time. It stays off and charges by daytime.
• Provide a sufficient drainage of at least 30-40cm around the product so that water cannot accumulate under the product

Product designed for the use in households and for other similar general applications.

MOUNTING

Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately qualified person. Any activities to be done with disconnected power supply. Exercise particular caution. Product has a protective contact/terminal. Failure to connect the protective lead may lead to electric shock. Mounting diagram: see pictures. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power prior to first use. The product can be connected to a supply network which meets energy quality standards as prescribed by law. To maintain the proper IP protection level, the right diameter of the power cable should be selected for the cable gland used in the product.

USAGE GUIDELINES / MAINTENANCE

Any maintenance work must be performed when the power supply is cut off and the product has cooled down. Clean only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents. Do not cover the product. Ensure free air access. Product may heat up to a higher temperature. Product can only be supplied by rated voltage or voltage within the range provided. It’s forbidden to use the product with damaged protective cover. Product must not be used in unfavourable conditions, e.g. dust, water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes, etc. Non-demountable product. Not suitable for independent repairs.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Keep your environment clean. Segregation of post-packaging waste is recommended.
This labelling indicates the requirement to selectively collect waste electronic and electrical equipment. Products labelled in this way must not be disposed of in the same way as other waste under the threat of a fine. These products may be harmful to the natural environment and health, and require a special form of recycling/neutralising. Products labelled in this way should be returned to a collection facility for waste electrical and electronic goods. Information on collection centres is provided by local authorities or sellers of such goods. Used items can also be returned to the seller when new product is purchased, in quantity no larger than the purchased item of the same type. The above rules regard the EU area. In the case of other countries, regulations in force in a given country must be applied. Contacting the distributor of our products in a given area is recommended.
