Product Description

The endo motor is mainly used in the root canal therapy process and is a device for root canal formation and cleaning in the root canal preparation stage. It helps the dentist complete the root canal treatment.
The features of this endo motor are as follows:

Perfrmance structure and composition

Scope of application

1. This product is suitable for root canal therapy, root canal formation and cleaning in root canal preparation stage.
   This product is only suitable for hospitals and clinics and must be used by qualified dentists.

Contraindications ,

if you are experiencing a patient with an implantable cardiac pacemaker (or other electrical equipment) and are warned not to use small appliances  (such as electric shavers, hair dryers, etc.), it is recommended not to use this product.

Warning tips

1. Please read this manual carefully before you first use it.

2. The device must be used by a professional and qualified dentist at a suitable location.

3. Do not put the device directly or indirectly near the heat source.The device must be operated and maintained in a reliable environment.

4. This device requires special precautions regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and must be installed and used in strict accordance with EMC information. Do not use this device near fluorescent  lights, wireless transmitters, remote controls, handheld and mobile HF communications equipment.

5. lt may cause the handle to overheat if use the reciprocating mode for a long time. In this case, it  should be cooled and then used again. If the handle frequently overheats, please contact your local dealer.

6. This device must use the original contra-angle  handpiece, otherwise it will not be used or cause adverse consequences.

7. Please do not make any modifications to the device. Any changes may violate the safety regulations and with internal power supply.cause harm to the patient. Any modifications will not be guaranteed.

8. Please use the original power adapter, other power adapters will cause damage to lithium batteries and  control circuits.

9. The handle cannot be autoclaved and the surface can only be wiped with a neutral disinfectant or alcohol.

10. Do not press the pressing cover of the handpiece before the handpiece stops rotating, otherwise it will damage the hand piece.

11. The hand piece cannot be removed until the handle stops rotating, otherwise it will damage the hand piece and the inner gear of the handle.

12. Before starting the handle, make sure that the file is
    installed and locked.

13. The continuous rotating file can not be used in the reciprocating motion system program, and the reciprocating file can not be used in the continuous rotating system program.

14. Please set the torque and speed of the endomotor according to the parameters recommended by the files manufacturer.

15. The forward rotation mode is suitable for the continuous rotating file, the reciprocating motion  mode is suitable for the reciprocating motion file (that is, one file), and when the continuous rotating file lock in the root canal,inversion can take out the files.

16. Do not start the handle motor before properly installing the handpiece, so as to avoid damage caused by the operator touching the gear.

Handpiece instructions

• The inside of this handpiece is driven by a precision gear with a transmission ratio of 1: 1.

• Before the first use and after each use, please clean
  and disinfect the contra-angle handpiece with the
  commonly used neutral disinfectant, then use the special cleaning oil for oiling maintenance, and then carry on the high temperature and high pressure
  sterilization with the temperature of 134°C and the pressure of 2.0bar / 2.3bar. (0.20MPa~0.23MPa).

• This contra-angle handpiece can only be used in conjunction with this device. It cannot be used in  conjunction with another device. Otherwise, the contra-angle handpiece may be damaged.

• The service life of the contra-angle hand piece is 1 year. According to the frequency and time of clinical use, and the degree of difficulty of different patient’s oral root canal during treatment, and its life span is also different

Installation and disassembly of hand piece

• Installation
  Point the positioning pin of the handpiece to the positioning hole of the handle, push it horizontally into the hand piece, and when you hear the sounds of “crack” , it indicates that it is installed in place. Three positioning pins on the handpiece are matched with 6 positioning holes on the handle.Handpiece can be installed at multiple angles.

• Disassembly
  When the handle is not started, pull the handpiece horizontally outing

Installation and disassembly of files

Insert the files into the rotating shaft hole of the handpiece, gently rotate, find the position corresponding to the semicircular part of the files, when you find the position, insert a part of it first, do not press the button above the handpiece, and then press the files into the handpiece with a little greater force. When you hear the “crack”, the file is connected to the hand piece.
If you need to remove the files, hold down the button above the hand piece and pull the files out of the hand piece at the same time.
When installing the needle, please press the files several times, and make sure the files is installed. Please keep the files clean, if dirt, etc. enter into hand piece, will cause the vibration of the files.

Product Function and Use

Operating Instructions

The start and stop of the handle When the handle is off, press and hold the “Power On/Start” button to enter the standby state; then press the “Power On/Start” button to enter the working state; press the “Power On/Start” button again to return the standby state.

Function Selection

Press the function setting key “S” on the standby interface to set the working mode, the speed , torque and the automatic round-trip angle. After setting, press the “Power on/Start” button to return.

Operation Mode

In this interface, use the adjustment key to select the following six working modes:

• Fwd: Forward 360° automatic movement, positive rotation plus torque reversal, remove the torque and resume normal rotation.

• Rev: reverse automatic continuation: reverse 360 °automatic motion, reverse plus torque forward rotation, remove the torque and resume the reversal.

• AF: Forward reciprocating motion, continuous cycle between forward rotation and reverses

• AR: Reverse reciprocating motion, continuous cycle between reverses and forward rotation.

• TCF: Automatic reverse close: forward 360 °,when encounter torque , will stop,it is used to remove the broken files with Anti-bearing knife.

• TCR: Automatic forward rotation close: reverse 360°, when encounter torque, will stop, it is used to remove the broken  files with positive knife.

• Speed:
  In this interface, use the adjustment key to select the speed, the range is 120-800rpm.The motor speed can also by changed by the adjusting key while motor spinning.

• Torque Limit:
  In this interface, use the adjustment key  to select the torque, the range is 0.5-4 Nern. When the torque is R.L, the speed and mode are not controlled by the torque, that is, there will be no resistance reversal or stop. Note that when the speed is greater than 600 rpm, the torque range is 0.5-2.0 Nern; when the speed is lower than 280, the torque range is 0.5-1.5 Nern. The torquer can also be changed by pressing the “S” key firstly then the adjusting key while motor spinning.

• Fwd/Rev Angle:
  This option interface appears only in AF and AR modes. Use the adjustment key to select the round-trip angle from 30°to 370 °

Option setting

In the standby interface, press and hold the adjustment key to enter the setting interface, then press the “S” key and the adjustment key   to set the auto power-off time, buzzer volume, left and right hand mode, Opticlight time after motor stop can be selected from 3S-1 OS by the adjusting key , power-on default program and reset. After setting, press the “Power On/Start” button to return.

Built-in root canal tiles parameters

In the standby interface, long-press the adjustment key to enter the built-in parameter interface. The software has built-in our DS model root canal tiles parameters and some common root canal tiles parameters at home and abroad and press the key to select. After selecting, press the “Power on/Start” button to confirm and return. At this time, the interface parameter lock and cannot be adjusted. You can switch the root canal model by adjusting the key. If you want to exit, you need to press and hold the key  again. The details of built- in root parameters are shown in the following table:

Battery and charging

Battery indication

There is a real-time power indication in the lower left corner of the screen interface:

Note: It is normal for the battery to change when the host adds load. For safety, the motor automatically turns off when charging.

Charging

The endomotor has a built-in 800mA large-capacity battery and is wirelessly charged. The charging time is about 4 hours.
Insert the charging base into the adapter, and make sure that there is no foreign matter in the hole in the main body of the charging base. After placing it correctly, put the host handle into the charging base, then the buzzer “drip” two times, and the “CHG”word will appear on the LCD screen and indicates that the charging is in progress; at the same time, the screen power is animated.
When charging for a period of time, two buzzer “drips” appear, and the word “FUL”is displayed on the LCD screen, indicating that the battery is fully charged.

Shutdown

Two ways to shut down
Automatic shutdown without operation, and the shutdown
time can be selected for 3-15 minutes in the setting.

Press and hold the function key “S”, and press the “Power On/Start” button to turn off the host; after shutdown, the host will store the parameter settings before shutdown for the next use.

Notes

1. The forward rotation function and the reciprocating function mentioned in this instrument use different root canal files.

2. Do not use curved cracked files that do not conform to specification. If such files are used, the files will be suddenly interrupted during the rotation, causing injury

Maintenance

6. When the handpiece is repeatedly steam-sterilized, it is recommended to perform regular maintenance to ensure that the handpiece is in good working condition and weekly maintenance is recommended.

1. 1. It is strictly forbidden to wipe with ethanol (alcohol), banana water, light grease (light gasoline) and so on.
2. It is strictly forbidden to place the machine under the sun or beside the fire to avoid battery
3. Do not disassemble the endomotor if there is any quality problem.

Cleaning and Disinfection

Please sterilize the handpiece, root canal file and LED light only.

• Please brush away the dirt attached to the surface with a brush (metal is strictly prohibited) and wipe it clean with a soft cloth stained with disinfection alcohol.
• During disinfection, the temperature shall not exceed 135°C(134°, 3.5mins recommended).
• When not in use, please seal it in a sterile bag and place it in a dry, well-ventilated
• Please sterilize the handpiece, root canal file and LED light only.
• Because the bottom layer of the pyrolysis rack is close to the heat source, the local temperature will be high, so the vessel should be placed in the middle or upper layer as much as possible.
• It is strictly forbidden to use chlorinated water (strongly acidic water, super acid water) or sterilizing liquid to wash, impregnate and wipe the vessel.
• Wrap it with a sterilized bag and mark it.
