Safety information
When using an electrical appliance, always observe basic safety measures:
- Use the appliance only as described in these instructions.
- The appliance must only be charged with the charger provided.
- The charger should only be used in conjunction with the Leifheit window and bath vacuum cleaner.
- Do not store or the appliance outdoors but always at room temperature.
- Always charge the appliance at room temperature and in a dry place.
- Do not operate the charger with moist or wet hands.
- After charging, always separate the charger from the power outlet and the appliance.
- Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots or the suction intake at the upper side of the device.
- The appliance can be used by children 8 years and older and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or with lack of experience or knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in its use so that they can use the appliance safely and understand the risks associated with it. Children must not play with the appliance. Children must not clean or service the appliance without supervision.
- This device contains batteries that cannot be replaced.
- Repairs must only be made by authorised service technicians. Never open the basic unit single-handedly. The individual components of the basic unit must not be disassembled, repaired or altered.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing.
- Only use the appliance to vacuum off any cleaning agents in well-ventilated rooms. Do not inhale the exhaust air coming out of the ventilation slots when vacuuming chemicals. When used in shower enclosures, rinse aggressive detergents with clear water before vacuuming.

Please note that this product is only intended for household use.
Leifheit will not provide any manufacturer’s warranty for commercial use.
- Use this appliance solely for cleaning moist, smooth surfaces such as windows, mirrors, tiles and shower walls made of glass or plastic.
- The appliance must not suck in any dust.
- In order to prevent damaging the rubber lip, do not use the appliance on rough surfaces.
- The appliance is not suitable for absorbing larger quantities of liquids from horizontal surfaces or flammable or sticky liquids.
- Use this appliance only in conjunction with conventional window cleaning agents or household cleaners (no spirits or foam cleaner). We recommend: Leifheit glass cleaner, window spray or bath spray
- Use this appliance only with Leifheit approved accessories and spare parts.
Any other use will be considered as improper. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such use; the user is solely responsible for damage from improper use.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION USING
- Charge the window vacuum cleaner completely before the initial use.
- Empty the tank completely before storing or charging the appliance for any length of time.
- Before storage, allow the appliance to dry completely with the cap open
- Clean the appliance with a moist cloth or under running water.
- Avoid pressure on the rubber lip during storage to prevent deformation.
If your product does not work correctly under normal conditions, please contact our support team your dealer and provide proof of purchase.
CAUTION
The following instructions must always be observed with lithium-ion batteries:
The battery must not be damaged or opened; doing so can cause a short circuit.
There is risk of fire. Toxic substances hazardous to health can escape. The
batteries must not end up in a fire. They must also not be exposed to direct,
strong solar radiation and heat.

NEVER USE THE APPLIANCE IN ONLY PARTIALLY ASSEMBLED CONDITION!
DISPOSAL
The symbol on the product or its packaging indicates according to directive
2012/19/EU that this product including the installed battery must not be
treated as normal household waste but should be handed over to a collection
point for recycling electrical and electronic devices.
You can receive additional information from your municipality, municipal waste
disposal company or the shop where you bought the product.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction | Notes |
---|---|
LED flashes orange | → The battery is empty, recharge the appliance. |
LED flashes orange despite fully or partially charged battery | → **An |
automatic safety function switches off the suction after approx. 15 minutes of
continuous operation without the appliance being switched off (e.g. after
unintended switching on) to avoid overheating.
Allow the device to cool down for approx. 1 hour, after which the appliance
can be used for the remaining battery life.
If the flashing continues| → Contact our customer service.
The device does not display an LED signal even if the power supply unit is
connected| → The charger used has the wrong charging voltage, disconnect it
immediately from the appliance Use only the original power supply unit
supplied.
LED flashes red| → There is a permanent fault. If connected, disconnect the
appliance from the charging cable and contact our customer service.
Streaks on window| → You may be holding the appliance too steeply or
shallowly against the pane.
The best result is achieved when the window vacuum cleaner is held at a 45°
angle and guided over the pane with little pressure.
→ Check the rubber lip for damage; the lip can be exchanged if necessary.
For easy removal, open the screws on the underside of the suction nozzle one
turn and tighten them again after inserting the new rubber lip
Water leaks from the appliance| → The tank has reached the maximum level of
60 ml and must be emptied.
Water leaks from the tank| → Check that the tank plug is correctly
positioned and that no foreign bodies (e.g. hair) are trapped.
→ Check the tank plug for damage, this can be exchanged if necessary.**
