Product Introduction
What is a water-resistance rowing machine?
The water-resistance rowing machine is a kind of rowing machine, which is able
to simulate real rowing and create a real visual, audible and sensory feeling
of rowing, so that you can
experience real rowing. It has significant effects of strengthening muscles of
the legs, waist, upper limbs, chest, back, etc.
Principle of operation
The R40S intelligent water-resistance rowing machine is a kind of sports
equipment that can be completely dragged by an operator to automatically
adjust the speed. Since the dragging force is related to speed, the exercise
intensity of the rower is actually dependent on changes in the rowing
frequency. To accelerate the rowing machine, you must increase the rowing
force. That is, the rower needs to apply more force. This is similar to
swimming.
About safety
It is recommended to consult a doctor about your health before starting this
exercise program. Please read the instructions carefully before using the
rowing machine.
Warning: Never touch any moving parts when the rowing machine is running.

Knob Functions
You can learn more about your health by more intelligent means based on the available data.
I. Start of exercise
- Turn on the power supply. The logo page will appear and then jump to the QR code page.
- Press the center of the start page to start exercising.
II. During movement
-
The screen shows the paddle frequency/resistance, calorie time and power.
Press the touch point at the bottom of the screen to turn pages.
-
Resistance adjustment
Regardless of the interface, turn the knob to jump to the resistance page during movement.
The current resistance will be shown. The system will automatically jump to the previous interface in 2s.
III. Pause, continuation and end of exercise
-
Pause and continuation of exercise: Press the center of any interface to pause during movement. In the pause state, press the center of screen to continue exercising.
-
End of exercise: Press the center of any interface for 2s to stop exercising. The exercise duration and calories burned will be shown.
-
Long press the touch button under the screen to turn on or off the light effect.
Folding
Step 1:
Before folding, push the seat to the end, to avoid damage as a result of
collision during pull-up, as shown in Fig. (1).
Step 2:
Hold the folding lever (Fig. 2) and lift it.
After folding, pay attention to the product protection and maintenance.
Correct Use
-
Rowing into water
Relax the shoulders, straighten the arms and back, and bend the knees until the calves are perpendicular to the slide rail. -
Pull stage
Push the pedals with the soles, with the arms straightened. -
Rowing out of water
Pull the handle to under the ribs and fully straighten the legs. -
Return stage
Keep the body fully forward with the arms relaxed, slowly bend the knees, and repeat the aforesaid steps
Incorrect Use
Error 1: Rowing with the forces of arms only
Correct action analysis: 60% of the rowing force is from the legs. That is,
the instant forces of the feet, hip and legs. 20% of the remaining 40% is from
the lower part of the body, and 20% from the arms.
Error 2: Simultaneous forces of both legs and arms and hip
Correct action analysis: In fact, rowing consists of three steps: both legs –
hip – both arms. Apply forces first via the legs, and then slowly move the hip
back. When the shoulders exceed the pelvis, pull the handle via both hands,
keep the body a little backward, and straighten your legs slightly, until both
ends are close to the chest. Return to the starting point and repeat the
aforesaid steps.
Error 3: Curved back
This is particularly likely to occur to those who are prone to hunchback while
standing.
Correct action analysis: Straighten the back, stretch abdominal muscles, and
relax the shoulders, to keep the spine always in a neutral state.
Error 4: Excessive stretching
For extreme stretching, the operator may keep the hip too close to heels, thus
making the calves not perpendicular to the ground and the head and shoulders
exceeding toes.
Correct action analysis: Keep the calves perpendicular to the ground,
straighten and relax both arms, and make the body a little forward.
Exercise Instructions
This product can be applied to strengthen physical fitness and exercise
muscles, and also reduce the weight in conjunction with reasonable diets.
Warm-up before exercise
Warm-up exercise at this stage aims to enhance the blood circulation, make
muscles in a good exercise state, and also reduce the risks of cramps or
muscle strain during exercise. Each time before exercise, please follow the
recommended exercise procedures for warm-up. Each stretching exercise must be
performed for about 30s. Avoid violent stretching exercises to prevent muscle
injury. In case of any muscle injury, please stop exercising.
List of Parts
Exercise stage
This is the formal exercise stage. Through long-term regular exercise, the
flexibility of leg muscles can be improved. It is critical to exercise with the
stable exercise intensity, depending on your own exercise conditions, Please
select the reasonable exercise intensity, to control the heart rate within the
target range shown below (continue exercising for at least 12 minutes to
control the heart rate within the corresponding target range; most people need
to continuously perform exercise for 15-20 minutes at the beginning of
exercise).
Recovery stage after exercise
Repeat the exercises at the preparation stage, while properly reduce the
exercise intensity and speed. It may take about 5min. Exercise at this stage
aims to adjust the heat in your body and thus relax your muscles. Note that
violent stretching exercises should not be done, in order to avoid
muscle injury.
If you have adapted to exercise, you can gradually increase the exercise time
and intensity. It is recommended to exercise at least 3 times a week. When
possible, record the average level of weekly exercises.
Muscle strengthening
If you want to use the product to strengthen muscles, please increase the
resistance during exercise, so as to strengthen muscles by increasing the
exercise intensity in a short time.
For muscle strengthening and fitness at the same time, you need to warm up first
by other methods, followed by regular exercises. It is necessary to increase
the exercise intensity and leg resistance at the end of exercise. However, the
exercise speed should be reduced while the exercise intensity is increased, to
keep the heart rate within the target range. Please perform cooling-down
exercise at the end.
For the purpose of weight loss, it is critical to pay attention to the
exercise time and intensity. The higher the exercise intensity and the longer
the exercise time, the more calories will be burned, thus achieving the
purpose of weight loss. Similarly, you can exercise enhance the physical
fitness.
You can perform appropriate exercises as needed.
Water tank use and maintenance
Water filling: Filling through the water inlet of upper water tank
Use special tools to fill or replace water. Make sure that water does not
exceed the highest water level.
Water treatment: Periodic maintenance
If water starts to deteriorate, please add one purifier into the water tank
immediately. If water becomes turbid, it is recommended to empty and flush the
water tank, and then fill it with clean tap water and add one purifier (the
purifier needs to be replaced once every six months on average under normal
circumstances).
Note: Never add bleach into the water tank.
