PowerPac’s powerful portable air conditioners are great cooling solutions for single rooms, creating a comfortable atmosphere in your space. It also has ventilation and dehumidifying function for circulating air and removal of moisture. They’re self-contained systems that do not require any permanent installation allowing you to move it to the place in which it is most needed. They’re commonly used in kitchens, bedrooms, computer rooms, event spaces, and many other places where installation of Air-conditioner Outdoor Units is limited. The environmentally friendly R290 is used as the refrigerant. R290 has no damaging influence on the ozone layer (ODP), a negligible greenhouse effect (GWP) and has high efficiency.

SAFETY FUNCTIONS
- Automatic Defrost
- In COOL, DRY or SLEEP mode, frost may build up at the evaporator during operation. If the temperature of the Evaporator Coil is below –1°C, the compressor will stop operating andthe Power LED will blink continuously.
- Once the temperature of the Evaporator Coil rises to 7°C, the compressor restarts operation.
- Protection Function of the Compressor
- To increase the service life of the compressor, it has a 3-minute delay after the compressor is turned off.
- Water Level Indication
- When the water in the Water Pan exceeds the warning level, the appliance will automatically stop operating. Follow the instructions in the box below.
HOW TO DRAIN THE PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER
The self-evaporating system uses the collected water to cool the condenser coils for more efficient performance. The condensate water evaporates at the condenser and evacuates through the Exhaust Hose. There is no need to empty the drainage tank in COOL mode, except in high humidity conditions and when in DRY mode.
On these occasions:
- Switch off the appliance.
- Remove the Rubber Sealing Plug of the Drainage Hole, and keep it in a safe area.
- Securely and properly connect the Drainage Hose and make sure it is not kinked and clear of obstruction.
- Place the outlet of the Drainage Hose over a drain or bucket and ensure that water can freely flow out of the Drainage Hole. It is appropriate that the degree of inclination should exceed 20 degrees.
- Do not submerge the end of the Drainage Hose below water; otherwise, it can cause an “Air Lock” in the Drainage Hose.
- Re-start the appliance in COOL or DRY mode.
HOW TO CLEAN THE AIR FILTER
Dust collects on the Air Filter and restricts the airflow. The restricted airflow reduces the efficiency of the system and if it becomes blocked it can cause damage to the appliance. The Air Filter requires regular cleaning, approximately every two weeks. The Air Filter is removable for easy cleaning. DO NOT operate the appliance without the Air Filter, or the evaporator may be contaminated.
- Switch off the appliance.
- Remove the Filter Mesh from the back of the appliance.
- Remove the two Air Filters.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to suck dust from each Air Filter.
- Turn the Air Filter over and rinse the Air Filter under running water. Let the water run through the Air Filter in the opposite direction of air flow.
- Set the Air Filters aside and allow the Air Filters to air dry completely before reinstalling.
HOW TO STORE THE PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER
- A. Repeat the steps in the section “How to Drain” above. However, restart the appliance immediately in COOL mode with Low Speed. Only switch OFF the appliance when the Drainage Hose becomes dry. Re-attach the Rubber Sealing Plug into the Drainage Hole securely.
- B. Switch the wall switch OFF and unplug the power cable from the wall socket. Wrap the power cable around the Wrapping Post.
- C. Clean the Air Filter.
- D. Remove the Exhaust Hose. Cover the appliance and the Exhaust Hose in separate plastic bags. Put them in a dry place, keep it out of the reach of children and take dust control measures. The appliance must be kept in an upright position when in storage.
