Maxxima MEW-LS510-02 Plastic Lamp Holder
WARNINGS
- Risk of electric shock – Disconnect power at the source before installation.
- If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance of the fixture, please consult an electrician.
- Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry.
CAUTIONS
- The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code (N.E.C) standards and any applicable local codes or ordinances.
- Supply conductors must at least be rated for 90°C/194°F.
- This fixture is designed for use with up to 12 AWG wire.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure the power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker to the off position or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel and turn off the wall switch before installing.

Remove any existing fixture (if applicable).

Partially screw the provided mounting screws into the junction box shown in figure 1.

If required strip the supply wires back about approximately 1/2”.

Wrap the the white wire (neutral) around one of the silver screws shown in figure 2a.

Tighten the silver screw to secure the white wire (neutral).

Wrap the black wire (hot) around one of the brass screw similar to figure 2a.

Tighten the brass screw to secure the black wire (hot).

Ensure there is room inside the junction box, push the supply wires into the junction box and align the screw heads with the cutouts in the lamp holder base.

Turn the lamp holder until the screw head is fully seated in the cutout, then tighten the screws until the lamp holder can not rotate.
Caution: Do not over tighten the mounting screws. -
Installation is now complete, install the desired light bulb and restore power.
**Inner cutout may be opened by using a screwdriver to remove the plastic, this is only required if the existing cutouts do not line up with the junction box.
