Product Usage Instructions

Opening the Safe with Key

1. Press the tab left and then turn the dial counterclockwise.
2. Insert the key and turn clockwise.
3. Turn the handle hub clockwise to open the safe.

Important Warnings

• Do not move the safe while the door is open.
• Avoid storing keys inside the safe and loaded guns in the unit.
• Always ensure the safe is closed and locked when not in use.

Warning

• Do not place or store the keys inside the safe .
• Do not store loaded guns in the unit
• Always check and make sure the safe is closed and locked when it is not in use.
• Please keep the numbers engraved in the keys, it will help you get replacement if you lose the keys.

STRUCTURE

OPEN THE SAFE WITH KEY

1. STEP 1: Press the tab left and then turn the dial counterclockwise
2. STEP 2 Insert the key and turn clockwise
3. STEP  3:Turn the handle hub clockwise to open the safe

INSTALLING THE HANDLE

Install the spokes of the handle into the hub, do not use any tools to tighten them, hand tighten only.

Install battery

9V battery is required, the battery is not included, please prepare the battery at your side.

1. STEP 1: With the dial removed, locate the battery compartment in the back of the dial. Connect a 9V alkaline battery to the battery connecting cap matching the polarity (+/-) indicated.
2. STEP 2: When the battery is connected correctly, the dial will beep once. Install the dial back by turning it clockwise into its original position.

Notice: When changing the battery, always hold the battery connecting cap while disconnecting or attaching the battery. Do not pull on the wires.

Lock operating instructions.

Your Tigerking safe lock has a default factory code :

To open your lock

1. Key in the factory preset combination
2. Press the “ # ” key

If the combination is entered correctly, the lock will cycle open for 6 seconds.
During this 6-second period, turn the handle of the safe to unlocked position and pull the door open.

Change the combination
You may change your combination any time you would like and as many times as you would like.
To ensure security once your safe is installed, you must change the factory preset combination to a new 4-8 digits combination.

Notice: Combination changes should always be done by the door open.

Steps to Change Combination

1. Open the safe door
2. Press the reset button in the hinge side, you should hear a short warbling tone and see the keypad flash.
3.  Key in your new 4-8 digits combination
4. Press the “ # ” key, you should hear a short combination tone.
5.  Test the new combination by re-entering the one you just set , pressing “ # ” key

If the correct, the green light turn on.

A Few things need to be known:

If 3 incorrect combinations are entered,
The lock will go into a Penalty lockout for 30 seconds to prevent trial-and- error attempts at opening the lock. During that time, the yellow indicator will flash.
If another 3 incorrect combinations are entered again, the lock will go into a Penalty lockout for 5 minutes.
No operation on the lock is acceptable during the Penalty time.

Low battery warning
If the red indicator lights on when you operate the lock,
Please replace with new 9V Battery immediately.
With low battery, even if you enter the correct combination, the system won’t have enough power to unlock the safe.

Tone on /off

• Press the key “ “ once , then the sound will be turned off.
• Press again, sound till be turned on.
• Notice: If sound is turned off, the sound of the warning alarm will be turned off as the same.

Vibration Alarm Setting
Press and hold the key “ 0 ” for 3 seconds until the yellow indicator flashes 5 times.

Notice: If the alarm goes off, by entering the correct combination, the alarm will be deactivated.
After the alarm is deactivated, you need to reset the above steps.

A quick note about shelving

• The drawer and the shelf are removable and adjustable.
• Every shelf (not including the drawer ) has 2 clips on the top and 4 clips on the bottom.
• The top clips are used to prevent the shelf from moving during the transition.

Remove the shelf

• Removing the shipping pad during the top clips and shelf first.
• Push down the clip and remove it.
  Then you can remove the shelf

Adjust the shelf

• Remove the shelf first, push up on the clip, and remove it.
• To install a shelf clip, insert the top of the clip as show in to the shelf standard.
• Push up on the angled bottom of the clip and rotate the bottom tab into place.
• Make sure all shelf clips are secure and on the same level before installing the shelf.
