OWNER’S MANUAL
The Ventev Power Extender for Light Poles is designed to provide continuous operation for PoE devices on light poles with intermittent AC power supply. It offers primary power during daylight hours and performs a fast recharge at night when AC power is available to charge the battery bank.

- Battery bank provides 18 hours of power during the day, recharges within 6 hrs at night.
- Converts 120 VAC input power to PoE+ for wireless radio and 35 W max for common PoE devices such as cameras for most common PoE devices.
- Powers one access point and up to 2 ports (max 35 W power available) for PoE devices.
- Outdoor PoE injector for power/data to wireless radio (i.e., access point).
- Unmanaged PoE switch to combine data from 1-2 cameras and pass to POE injector.
- NEMA 4X enclosure includes latch locks for protection and security.
- Seamless power transfer from AC site power to battery reserve ensures access point remains powered and radio rebooting is avoided.

Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Mount the power extender securely on the light pole using the included mounting flanges.
- Connect the AC power input to the designated port on the enclosure.
- Connect your PoE devices to the RJ45 ports on the enclosure using the provided wire harness and RJ45 feed-thrus.
Operation
The power extender will provide power to your PoE devices during the day and recharge its battery at night. Ensure that the power extender is properly connected and mounted for optimal performance.
Maintenance
Regularly check the power extender for any signs of damage or wear. Keep the enclosure clean and free from debris that may affect its operation. Replace the battery as needed according to the estimated usable life provided in the specifications.
