Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions:
- Disconnect the air selector cable located on the driver’s side of the center console, behind the dash, and above the gas pedal.
- Open the glove box and squeeze in on the sides to remove it.
- Disconnect the temperature selector cable located on the passenger side of the center console, behind the glove box.
- Unclip and remove the trim panel surrounding the factory radio including the a/c vents and climate controls.
- Remove (4) Phillip screws from the factory radio and remove them. Continue to kit assembly.
Kit Assembly:
- Remove the metal DIN sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio.
- Attach the Radio Brackets to the Radio Trim Panel.
- Secure the pocket to the completed assembly using (4) #8 x 3/8 Phillips screws provided.
- Slide the radio in from the back of the kit, and then secure the radio to the completed assembly using screws supplied with the radio.
- Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the radio for proper operation.
- Reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.

CAUTION!
Metra recommends disconnecting the negative bat-tery terminal before beginning
any installation unless the vehicle manufacturer recommends against so. Please
check with your local Dealership for more information. All accessories,
switches, climate controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights
must be connected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.
Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the
vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition and then
wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.
Dash Disassembly
- Disconnect the air selector cable located on the driver’s side of the center console, behind the dash, and above the gas pedal. (Figures A & B)
- Open the glove box and squeeze in on the sides to remove it.
- Disconnect the temperature selector cable located on the passenger side of the center console, behind the glove box. (Figure C)
- Unclip and remove the trim panel surrounding the factory radio including the a/c vents and climate controls. (Figure D)
- Remove (4) Phillip screws from the factory radio and remove. (Figure E) Continue to kit assembly
Kit Assembly
ISO DIN radio provision with pocket
- Remove the metal DIN sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio.
- Attach the Radio Brackets to the Radio Trim Panel. (Figure A)
- Secure the pocket to the completed assembly using (4) #8 x 3/8” Phillips screws provided. (Figure B)
- Slide the radio in from the back of the kit, and then secure the radio to the completed assembly using screws supplied with the radio. (Figure C)
- Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the radio for proper operation.
- Reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.
