Adjusting the Ejector Spring Force
If you need to adjust the ejector spring force:
- Check if the spring is functioning correctly.
- If the spring is in good condition, it is recommended to leave it as it is.
- Avoid over-compressing the spring to prevent damage to the switch.
Remember, the factory-set spring strength is optimal for most situations. Only adjust if necessary.
ATTENTION: Be cautious not to over-compress the spring to avoid damaging the switch.

FAQ
Q: Can I adjust the spring force without damaging the switch?
A: Yes, you can adjust the spring force, but be careful not to over-compress it to prevent damage.
Q: Is the factory-set spring strength suitable for all situations?
A: The factory-set spring strength is generally good for most cases. Only adjust if necessary.
Adjusting the ejector spring force
In some cases (very small doors, spring-shut hinges, etc.) the spring might
need to be adjusted. There are two stronger positions and two weaker positions
(from approx. 0.5 to 1.5 times of original force). With intention to adjusting
the spring force a 2.5/16 mm screw is supplied. Be sure to screw it all the
way in so the head is level with the lock base.
Ejector is important part of the lock and should be able to push the doors
open when unlocked. For the great majority of locker and hinges type factory
settings (normal spring force) are in order.
- For stronger spring, simply screw it into one of the two positions on the bottom of the body (see picture) the one closer to the ejector end being the stronger one (“A”).
- For weaker – shorter ejecting travel, the position closer to the ejector end now means less ejecting travel. (compress + “A”)
If spring is OK
Leave as it is.
The factory-set spring strength is good. In that case adjusting screw is not
needed.
If spring is too strong
First compress the spring totally with the thumb and then screw the screw on
position:
A – much weaker setting B – weaker setting
ATTENTION Do not over-compress the spring (force ejector inside the lock), as you might damage the switch!
If spring is too weak
Leave ejector uncompressed and screw the screw on position:
A – much stronger setting B – stronger setting
