Intended use

The Nedis BTMA200BK is intended to be used as a hands-free kit with Bluetooth.
The product has a built-in microphone for making hands-free calls and the
integrated USB charging ports can be used to charge any device.
The product is intended for indoor and car use only.
The product is not intended for professional use.
The product is exclusively intended for playing music from a Bluetooth device and for answering and making hands-free phone calls.
This product can be used in a car using the auxiliary power plug or indoors using the AUX plug.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty, and proper functioning.

Safety instructions

To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

WARNING

  •  Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep this document for future reference.
  • Only use the product as described in this document.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  •  Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
  • This product is equipped with a non-removable internal battery. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.
  •  Only use the provided USB charging cable.
  •  Charge the battery for at least 2 hours before using the product for the first time.
  •  Do not overcharge the battery.
  • After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharged the cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
  •  Do not leave the battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
  •  Disconnect the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
  •  Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, naked flames, or heat.
  •  Do not place the product near heat sources, this can damage the product.
  •  Do not expose the product to very hot or very cold temperatures or drastic changes in temperature or humidity.
  • Do not immerse the product in water for cleaning.
  •  Some wireless products may interfere with implantable medical devices and other medical equipment, such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, and hearing aids. Consult the manufacturer of your medical equipment for more information.
  •  Be careful when using the product while driving. Always focus your attention on the road.

Installing the product (image B)

  1.  Plug the Bluetooth receiver A10 into the AUX port A5 of the auxiliary power plug A7.
  2.  Plug A7 into the auxiliary power port of your car. Alternatively, plug Aq directly into the AUX port of your car or an indoor device which enables the device to have a Bluetooth connection.

Press and hold the multifunctional button with LED A8 for 3 seconds to switch Aq on or off.
product automatically switches off when there is no Bluetooth connection for more than 10 minutes.

Pair with Bluetooth

After switching on the product, A8 blinks and emits a prompt: “Power on”.
1. Enable Bluetooth on the device you want to pair.
2. Select “BTMA200BK” from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your device.
3. If asked, enter the pairing code ‘0000’.
-If the product has already been paired with another device, make sure that the device is switched off or Bluetooth is disabled.
-When the product has lost connection to the Bluetooth source, it will automatically reconnect when back in range and switched on.

Playing music
Play music directly from the mobile device that is connected to the product via Bluetooth.

Controlling the music

  1. Press A8 to play or pause music.
  2.  Press the next button A9 to skip to the next song.
  3.  Press the previous button A3 to go back to the previous song.
  4.  Press and hold the volume up button A1 to increase the volume.
  5.  Press and hold the volume down button A4 to decrease the volume.
  6.  During a call, press and hold A8 for 3 seconds to switch to private mode. If you receive a call while playing music, the product automatically switches to the phone call.

Making phone calls

  1. To answer an incoming call, press A8.
  2.  During a call, press and hold A8 for 3 seconds to switch to private mode.
  3.  To end a call, press A8.
  4.  To quickly redial the last called number, double press A8.
  5.  To reject an incoming call, press and hold A8 for 3 seconds.

Charging the product
When the battery is low, Aq gives a prompt sound and the status of the battery is shown on the connected device.
There are two ways to charge the product: with the auxiliary power plug (option A) or using the micro USB port (option B).
Option A:

  1.  Plug the AUX plug A12 into A5 to charge A10.
  2. Plug A7 into the auxiliary power port of the car.

Option B:

  1.  Plug the micro USB cable A13 into the micro USB port A11.
  2.  Plug the other end of the micro USB cable into a USB port made for charging.
    You cannot use the product while charging it via the micro USB port.

Charging your devices
•Connect your device to the USB charging port (2.4 A) A6 using A13.
