Operating

Power

Press and hold the power button to turn the device off or on.

Note: The CR225 will automatically turn on when connected to a 12V-24V power socket and automatically turn off after 10 minutes if it is not connected to a Bluetooth source.

Bluetooth Connections

When turned on, the CR225 enters pairing mode automatically indicated by the status LED flashing blue. Scan for Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone and select CR225 from the available devices.

After successful connection, the status LED will light blue. The CR225 will attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when it is turned on. To connect to a new device, first disconnect any existing connection. Note: Bluetooth settings on mobile phones are not standardised, to find the specific information for your phone, please refer to its user manual.

FM Transmission

The LCD screen displays the current FM transmission frequency. Match your FM radio to this frequency to begin playback through your car stereo. To reduce interference, find an empty station on your FM radio then use the FM frequency dial to match this number on the CR225.

Music Control

The CR225 can control the music playing on a compatible Bluetooth device.
Use the volume dial to adjust the volume.
Press   or  to skip to the next or previous track.
Press the power button to play, pause and resume playback.

A hands-free Calling

Whilst connected to your mobile phone, the CR225 will act as a hands-free system for phone calls.
Press the power button on the CR225 to pick or hang up calls. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to reject the incoming call.
Double press the power button to redial the last called number.

USB Output

Whilst the CR225 is connected to a I 2V-24V power source, the USB port on the CR225 acts as a powered USB port to charge portable devices.

Troubleshooting

The device will not turn on.
  1. Check that the CR225 is securely plugged into the 12V-24V power source.
  2. Check that the 12V-24V power source is working.
No sound is heard.
  1. Check that the volume level on your Bluetooth device, CR225 and FM radio is not too low.
  2. Check that the FM frequency of the CR225 and the FM radio match.
The sound quality is intermittent.
  1. Check that the FM frequency of the CR225 and the FM radio match.
  2. Check that the FM frequency is clear of FM radio broadcasting.
The microphone volume is too low.
  1. Turn the microphone on the CR225 to face you.
  2. Move the CR225 closer to you.

Warranty

This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of the original purchase. In the unlikely event of any defect arising due to faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be either replaced or repaired free of charge (where possible) during this period. An alternative product will be offered in case the product is no longer available or repairable.

This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • The warranty is only valid within the country where the product is purchased.
  • The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance to the instructions given in this user manual.
  • The product must be used solely for domestic purposes.
  • The warranty only covers the main unit, and does not cover the accessories.
  • The warranty does not cover the damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident and natural disaster.
  • The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product is resold or has been damaged by inexpert repairs. The manufactures disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages.
  • Please consult our customer adviser before returning any product; we are not responsible for any unexpected product returns.
  • Any faulty product must be kept and returned in the original packaging with all the accessories and the original copy of the purchase receipt.

The warranty is in addition to, and does not diminish, your statutory or legal rights.
