UNIVERSAL ADAPTER
General safety instructions
Please read the operating instructions for this product before use! The
operating instructions are an essential part of the product. They contain
important notes on start-up and handling of the device. Always keep the
enclosed operating instructions to be able to look up information! These
instructions must be enclosed when passing the device on to third parties. The
power pack cannot be repaired; this part must be immediately disposed of in
case of a defect. Ensure sufficient ventilation of the device. Never cover it
during operation. Avoid strong operational demands. Do not expose the device
to high temperatures, strong vibrations, or extreme humidity. Do not install
within reach of children or animals. The power supply is only suitable for
indoor use. Please protect the device against moisture and wetness. Disconnect
the power pack from the socket if the device is not going to be used for an
extended period of time. Safe operation is not possible anymore if: – the
power pack has visible damage – the device does not work anymore – the device
has been severely stressed during transport.

Instructions:
1. Set the voltage selector to match the required voltage.
2. Never use a device that requires more current (mA) then mentioned on the
label of the adapter.
3. Select the correct output plug.
4. Check the polarity of the electronic unit and set the right polarity
by fitting the output plug as shown in the drawing below.
5. The arrows on the sockets show which pole is central.
6. Plug the adapter into a 110 or 230 V AC outlet socket.
Caution:
Be sure that you use the right output plug and voltage before connecting the adapter to the main power source. Using an incorrect output voltage, plug or polarity could damage the connected device and/or the power supply.
Safety precautions:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this product should ONLY be opened by an authorized technician when service is required. Disconnect the product from mains and other equipment if a problem should occur. Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
Maintenance:
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
