SAFETY KNIFE HANDLING
Handling: Use the pointed cutter nose for piercing the cutting material, e.g.
cardboard (up to 2 layers) or film. You can then cut (fig. 1).
The best way to open cardboard boxes is by holding the SECUMAX 350 SE slanted
(fig. 2).
For plastic hoops please hold at a 45 degree angle (fig. 3).
To scrape off adhesive tape, use the external unsharpened edges of the blade
head (only NO. 350040, fig. 4).
Blade change: Open the handle at the top (at the height of the arrow) and
completely pull out the cyan coloured blade magazine (fig. 5).
You can then take out the spare balde. The lock of the blade head is released
at the same time. Take out the blade head and turn it or change it (fig.
6).
Position the spare blade parallel to the slanted side of the cutter head. Push
the blade in, and then downwards, until fully engaged (fig. 7).
Then push the blade magazine back into the handle (fig. 8).

-
Special application instructions to avoid the danger of injuries : Always take great care when handling the product. Before first use, familiarise yourself with the safety technology and how it works. Before every further use, check the knife for proper functioning. Only use cutting tools that are in perfect condition with sharp, clean and undamaged MARTOR blades. CAUTION: The blade is sharp and can result in serious and deep cuts.
Therefore, never reach into the blade! Do not place your free hand in the line of cutting and never cut directly towards you. -
Replacement of spare parts : Replace any blades that become dull at the right time! Use only the replacement blades from MARTOR for this purpose. Dispose of old blades in a proper fashion. They should not be placed in a waste paper bin, as this poses a considerable danger of injuries. Never perform any repairs yourself.
