TC Electronic GAUSS TAPE ECHO Quick Start Guide

Super-Saturated Tape Echo Pedal with Mod Switch, Delay, Sustain and Volume Controls

Controls

  1. Input/Output jacks – Connect a 1/4″ cable from your guitar to the INPUT jack, and connect a cable from the OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
  2. 9 V DC – Connect a 9 V power supply (not included).
  3. Footswitch – Turns the effect on and off. The LED will light when the pedal is engaged. The pedal operates in true bypass when disengaged.
  4. DELAY – Sets the delay time.
  5. VOLUME – Determines the volume of the echoes.
  6. SUSTAIN – Determines the number of repeats.
  7. MOD ON/OFF – Engages a modulation effect in the repeats, commonly called “wow and flutter”.
