ACURITE 01061 Clock/Thermometer
Outdoor Placement
For the most accurate temperature readings choose a location that will not be exposed to direct sunlight or other heat sources. The clock is water-resistant and designed for general outdoor use, however, to extend its life, place the clock in an area protected from direct weather elements.
To Set Time:
Turn the set knob on back of the clock movement in either direction.
To Start Clock:
Clock requires one “AA” battery (not included).
Insert one “AA” battery (not included) as indicated in the battery
compartment.
Thermometer Calibration:
The pointer may move during shipping, causing the thermometer to read temperature inaccurately. If the thermometer is reading incorrectly, compare the temperature reading to a known accurate thermometer. Let both thermometers adjust to room temperature for at least three hours. If the new thermometer continues to read inaccurately, adjust the pointer by turning knob on the back of the unit in the approriate direction.
