  •  To correct a cut that is too deep, turn the depth adjustment knob clockwise for a shallower cut.

  •  To correct a cut that is too shallow, turn the depth adjustment knob counterclockwise for a deeper cut.

  •  If everything seems okay, tighten the set screw.

  • IMPORTANT!
Pull back and hold carriage when turning machine back on.(Remember that the machine was stopped halfway through the cutting cycle.)

  • While holding back on carriage as shown, allow machine to complete cycle and return to “load/unload” position..

  • Insert the test key to be duplicated into the tracer side.

  • Check the test key in the lock to see that the key works smoothly.

NOTE : If duplicate key turns “tight”, adjust the tracer slightly inward for deeper cut. If duplicate key “clicks”, adjust the tracer slightly outward for shallower cut.

  • Turn on machine.

  • Push button to begin cutting cycle.

  • Note the possible incorrect position of key to be cut.

  •  Note the other possible incorrect position of key to be cut.
