Operating and Installation Instructions
CAUTIONS
-
Please insert the micro SD card in the right direction to avoid damage to the card or the if the device shows an error message, please format the micro SD card from the device menu. Please reset the device or change the micro SD card If a similar error continues.
Note: All files will be deleted when formatting micro SD card or firmware update, please backup the important files prior to that.
When the reset function is selected, the device will return to the default setting. -
Assign mounting location that will not obstruct driver in any circumstances. Or cause Injuries to drivers and passengers in case of an emergency brake or accident.

Blaupunkt does not warrant the performance of the device if used with other Micro SD card other than Blaupunkt Micro SD card

New Micro SD card must be formatted for first use. Micro SD must be formatted once every 6-month.

Ensure the bracket is installed correctly & firmly on the windscreen to avoid damage to the device and for a better recording angle.

Please do not use the product in a wet environment as the device is not waterproofed/ water-resistant.

Please do not record or take pictures facing sunlight.

To obtain a clear image, please clean the windscreen and device lens regularly. Avoid using devices in dusty environments.

Handle the device with care and avoid direct impact on the device. Avoid using devices in high electromagnetic environments.

Please operate the product within the temperature of -20°C — 80°C. Continuous exposure to sunlight, especially when locked in the cabin where the temperature exceeds 80°C may result to devise malfunction, color change, housing, and image distortion.

FUNCTIONS -APP
Pair DVR with Android Smartphone
The distance range between the DVR and smartphone is approximately 10 meters
(33ft) in an open field environment.
Wireless Connection (Wi-Pi)
Enable Wi-Fi on Smartphone before beginning (Refer to the instruction manual
of the smartphone on how to operate Wi-Fi)

Ensure to download Blaupunkt DVR BP3.1A from App Store (I0S) or Play Store (Android).
At standby mode, press 5 (Menu) twice then select WI-Fi to turn on. -
Go to the smartphone Wi-Fi connection setting, search for BP3. I A, then key-in password 12345678

Go to the smartphone Wi-Fi connection setting, search for BP3.I A, then key-in password 12345678

BP3.1A will indicate successful connection when connected

Open the BP3.1A app from your smartphone and select Connect to the device.

The app will begin recording automatically when BP3.1A is connected.
Repeat Wireless Connection steps whenever the smartphone is disconnected
Download Video or Photo

Go to the app recording screen to select Video or Photo gallery.
-
Press and hold preferred video/photo to select then press Lia to download the file.
FUNCTIONS – DVR
Car Plate Number
- At standby mode, press 5 (Menu) twice then select Car No
- Press 8 (Mode) to change digit location.
- Press, hold & release 8 to switch between Alphabet and Numeric.
- Press S (Menu) when complete to exit the setting.
Emergency Recording
- The device begins saving recording when the assigned sensitivity intensity is detected. will appear on the LCD display. Video file (file size-based set loop recording) will be saved under Emergency file. Adjust sensitivity in Menu > G-sensor
SOS (Manual Mode)
- During recording, press 5 (Menu) to manually save the file as an Emergency file. will appear on the LCD display. Video file (file size-based set loop recording) will be saved under Emergency file.
Auto Power Off
- The device will automatically shut down if a microSD card is not inserted within the set time.
Super Capacitor Technology
- This technology ensures video files are saved even if sudden power cut-off.
