INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: Some cutting required. Use caution and safety equipment like gloves and glasses.
- Using a Torx T-3O remove the two bolts in between the console pillars. (See photo)
- Gently lift console up, and unscrew the nut located behind the Start/Stop button, unclip any wire holding clips, and unplug the button.
- Using the photo to the right as a guide, draw a line 1 ¼” below the bottom of the accessory switches. Keep the sides long – this is where you will be drilling holes into the plastic to secure the upper part of the radio mount. Carefully cut along the line removing the pillars.
- Place the bracket against the console and drill ¼” holes through the plastic sides using the bracket as a template.
- Remove the bracket from the car to install the radio, intercom and start/stop button. Install your radio using the side screws into the (A) radio mount. Place the radio and mount into the bracket from behind. Install the (B) beauty ring on the face of the bracket making sure the sides sit flush with the bracket and install the hardware. Mount the Intercom, Start/Stop Button and Push to Talk buttons if holes on bracket face are the desired location.
- Place the bracket with all equipment back into the car. Install the supplied hardware into the holes drilled in Step 4. Reinstall hardware removed in Step 1.
- If you purchased optional side covers, line them up with the holes and attach using stock plastic push rivets for the right panel and the included plastic push rivets for the left panel. Using the side plates as a template, drill a¼” hole on the driver side center console. Fasten with the included plastic push rivet.
