RADIO/INTERCOM BRACKET INSTALLATION

PROVIDED HARDWARE

  • (6) M5 x 12mm SS button head socket screw
  • (6) M5 Zinc Plated Nyloc nut
  • (6) M5 SS Fender washer
  • (4) M4 x 12mm SS button head socket screw
  • (2) Plastic rocker switch hole plug

TOOLS NEEDED

  • Oscillating multi-tool with blade
  • 8mm open-ended wrench or socket tool
  • 2mm & 2.5mm Allen drivers
  • Drill
  • Silver Sharpie

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove the factory switch panel on the dash by firmly pulling towards you. Pull on the bottom of the panel to unclip the bottom snaps first.
  2. Be sure to mark plugs when you disconnect, so it will be easy to reinstall.
  3. Mark and cut out plastics in four places. Two horizontal cuts on the top, and two vertical cuts on the lower left and right sides.
  4. Hold up bracket and mark the 6 mounting holes on dash with a silver Sharpie. Once marked, use a 1/4” bit to drill holes.
  5. See intercom instructions for cable routing. If you run cables through the center tunnel of the car, you will need to drill a hole to pass cables through from the tunnel and up to the bottom of the dash.
  6. Mount bracket to the dash with the (6) M5 provided hardware provided.
  7. Reinstall all switches into bracket and connect to marked cables.
  8. Connect cables to the intercom and radio using the intercom instructions provided. Leave enough slack in the cables for service accessibilty.
  9. Install the intercom and radio into the bracket.
