IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, never open the unit. There are no user-service­able parts, refer service to an authorized Rockville service center.
• Do not expose this unit to any kind of moisture.
• Please ensure that the unit is situated in a properly ventilated area.
• Make sure the unit is placed on a level and stable surface.

Functions

1. USB power input port

7. Hands-free calling: Press to answer an incoming call, press again to end the call.
   Press and hold to reject the call.

8. Previous/Volume -: short press to change track, long press to decrease volume.

9. Press and hold to tum the power on or off. When the unit is on. short press to turn the lights on/off and cycle through the LED modes.
   • Solid color (green/red/blue)
   • Color shift (blue/green/red)
   • Fast color shift (blue/green/red/light blue/yellow/purple)
   • Flash to the beat (cycles through all 6 colors)

10. Mode: Press to change modes (Bluetooth, USB, SD, AUX).

11. NextNolume +: short press to change track, long press to increase volume.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Upon powering on, the speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
   Please note: if the device is in another mode, press the Mode button to return to Bluetooth mode. Press this button for two seconds to disconnect the current BT device and enter pairing mode.

2. Ensure your device is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable.

3. Under the list of available devices search for and select RPB-KAR.

4. The unit will automatically connect to your device and you will hear the word connected.

ATTENTION: WHEN PAIRING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THE VOLUME ON THE DEVICE IS TURNED UP.

Bluetooth Music

Long press the 4+ buttons to raise or lower the volume. Short press the 4+ buttons to navigate through tracks. Use the PLAY/PAUSE button to control playback.

Bluetooth Hands-Free

1. To answer or end a call press the button
2. Press and hold the button to reject an incoming call.

USB/SD Mode

1. Insert Micro SD card or USB flash drive (up to 32GB supported) into the corresponding port at the rear of the unit. Alternately, you can press the MODE button to select the desired input source.
2. Micro SD card/USB input should be automatically recognized and music will begin to play.
3. Long press the -/+ buttons to raise or lower the volume. Short press the -/+ buttons to navigate through tracks. Use the PLAY/PAUSE button to control

Aux Mode

1. Upon plugging in a 3.5mm jack, the unit will automatically switch to AUX input and begin to play music.
   Please note: If you plug in the 3.5mm cable prior to turning the unit on, use the MODE button to select AUX mode.

2. Long press the 4+ buttons to raise or lower the volume. Other playback functions can be controlled from your device.

Charging

Charging the Unit

1. Plug the included micro USB cable into the micro port on the back of the unit.
2. While charging, the LED charging indicators will blink. When 3 of 5 LEDs are blinking, the unit is 60% charged. When 4 of 5 LEDs are blinking, the unit is 80% charged. 5 solid red LEDs indicate that the speaker is fully charged
3. The charge time is 4 hours.
4. During playback, if 4 of 5 LEDs are on, the unit is at 80% capacity. When 3 of 5 LEDs are on, the unit is at 60% capacity.

Power-bank Function
The USB port can be used to charge your phone or tablet.

No Power|

1. Make sure the unit is on.
2. Make sure the unit is charged. See page 4 for charging instructions.

Bluetooth pairing fails|

1. Check to see that both devices are turned on and that your Bluetooth device is discoverable.
2. Make sure you’ve selected the proper source.
3. Make sure that the Bluetooth device is within 5 feet of the unit.
4. Check the speaker and input source volume settings.
5. Move both devices away from other Bluetooth devices, micro­waves, wireless routers, and other electronics.
6. Make sure that the unit is not paired to a previously paired device. See the Bluetooth instructions on page 4.

No USB/SD playback|

1. Make sure you’ve selected the proper source.
2. Check that the SD card or USB flash drive is not damaged.z
3. Make sure that the SD card’s or USB flash drive’s capacity is no more than 32GB.
4. Make sure that the music files are in one of the following formats: MP3/WMA/APE/FLAC/WAV.
