TERMINALS ON THE AMPLIFIER

Most speaker damage is caused by amplifiers with too much power (wattage). The proper way to set your gain is to turn your receiver volume to 75% of the max, and then slowly turn your gain up. The second you hear any slight distortion, turn it down one notch and leave it at that setting. Amps are not meant to be played with the gain up to the max. If this is the case, lower your gain slowly until you hear the amplifier stop clipping.

FAQs

can you purchase the swival brackets alone?****

I haven’t seen that you can. You can dig through their actual website and you might find them.

How do you connect the wires so they don’t corrode?****

Cover all exposed wiring with shrink or silicone.

wondering if you can get the black 6.5s but instead of black grill can you get it white to have it black and white****

You will have to either buy one set of each, or paint the part that you want black….Rustoleum Professional Gloss black works well.

Are these Bluetooth or do you got to wire to a stereo?****

They are Not bluetooth. You must use the right wattage to get the optimal sound.

Will these fit on my 2021 Axis? My boat specs say 3” bar on the tower.****

Please read the complete product description details, it mentions the mounting bar diameter range.

Do the swivel mounts lock and if so how?****

losing the bolt turn where desired and tighten.

What gauge wire do these speakers need?****

I recommend 10gauge-14 gauge I am running 10 gauge so I don’t have any problems. Google the max load per gauges and it’ll show a chart

Please send the dimensions of the 6.5 and the 8” models.****

Look them up in the Amazon diagrams or the Rockville website.

What size Allen key for swivel bracket?****

The Allen key is included.

Can you replace just the speaker****

Yes, but not that easy….be very careful when taking it apart….it is not cut and dried. I put Polk dB652’s in a pair…it took some minor modification.

I really just need the housing. Would it be possible to put my Fusion 6.5″ speakers instead in these housings?****

Yeah I swapped out the speakers in mine.

Can I change the speakers and if so is it hard and can could you keep the grills?****

No you can’t. I actually tried to and no the shape of the grill and shape of the speakers are made specifically for what comes in them… steer clear they are trash. Absolutely garbage…. oh did I mention that they are trash I forget.

300 watt each? Or as a set meaning 15o each****

These are garbage I had 3 pair of them. They can’t handle 150 as a pair let alone individually. Sidenote any other speakers you see that resemble these are all made by the same manufacturer. Avoid at all cost

Does it come with stereo ?****

These speakers connect to a stereo radio and sound great.

can you purchase the swival brackets alone?****

No.
