Description

  1. If no button is pressed within 1 minute, the backlight will go out automatically.
  2. If no button is pressed within 10 minutes, the keyboard will be sleep to save power mode.
  3. The backlight function will be turned off automatically with a low battery.

How to get the keyboard synced with the iPad

  1. Power on the keyboard by sliding the On/Off to the On position.
    Then press the ‘fn’ and letter ‘ca button together, the PAIR indicator will flash slowly, the Bluetooth of the keyboard is opened.

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth of your iPad.

  3. Open the iPad Bluetooth Search when the Bluetooth pair lights twinkle.

  4. Then there will be “Bluetooth 5.1 Keyboard” comes up on the searching page, select it, the Bluetooth will be connected.

If a problem persists, please try the following steps:
– Full charge the keyboard
– Update iPad to the latest version
– Delete all the Bluetooth devices on the iPad
– Reboot the iPad
– Switch the keyboard off and on
– Press ‘fn’ and letter ‘c’s together to open keyboard Bluetooth
– Switch on Bluetooth on the iPad
– Reconnect the keyboard

The Bluetooth function will turn to sleep if you don’t press the keyboard beyond 10 minutes, at this situation, you just need to press any key on the keyboard to wake
up the Bluetooth to get it to work again. (Don’t need to re-connect the Bluetooth)

Indicator Light

Capital Indicator Light:
Press the keyboard Caps Lock, the indicator light is on.
Wireless Connect Indicator:
Press the “Fn+C” button, the indicator light will flash slowly and enter BT pairing mode. When the pairing completion light goes out.
Charging indicator Light:
Slow flashing red light means the battery is low, the charging status is red for a long time, and it is green after charging is completed.

Charging

  1. Please charge the keyboard with your iPad’s charging cable.
  2. Fully charge your keyboard, or charge it for more than 3 hours before you use it for the first time.
    The keyboard charging port is TYPE C, and the input voltage cannot exceed
    DC-5V, otherwise the keyboard will be damaged.

Working Environment

  1. Stay away from oil, chemical, or other organic liquid articles. Note: liquid intake can lead to a short circuit.
  2. Stay away from 2.4G frequency items such as microwave ovens, routers, and so on. Note: it will interfere with Bluetooth.
  3. Prevent sunlight exposure and high temperature.

Installation and Removal

  1. Removing the back protective piece: hold the iPad on both sides and use thumbs to gently push off the back cover (see photo.) The cover is held in place by two tabs.
  2. Proceed to “peel” the cover away from the iPad.
  3. Take the iPad out.
  4. Take the iPad out upwards.

    Find out an expired card
    Insert the card into the gap and push the card to the cover side a little bit
    Slid the card from one side to another
    Separate the iPad from the cover easily

If you have unwanted auto-correction or punctuation

  1. Open Settings app > General Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard
  2. Toggle OFF Auto-capitalization, Auto-correction, and “ . ” shortcut ( please refer to the picture below )

Pre-use Settings

  1. Turn on the lock / unlock function
    After your iPad is connected to the Bluetooth with our keyboard, please go to the iPad
    settings – display and brightness – locking/unlocking function – turn it on.
    Remarks: If the locking/unlocking function is not turned on, you can’t wake up the Bluetooth function nor wake up the iPad by pressing any key on the keyboard
    after the iPad is in a dormant state.

Settings

  2. Turn off the mouse key function
    Go to iPad settings – Accessibility – Touch – Assistive touch – Mouse key
    – turn it off.
    Remarks: If the mouse key function is not turned off, it will cause the number key‘7. 8. 9’and letter key ‘U. I. O. J. K. L. M’ can’t be entered.
