INTRODUCTION
Please read and keep this user manual.
This product has been developed using the latest knowledge and based on years of experience in the manufacture of high-quality dinghies, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and floats. Please read this manual carefully to maximise your enjoyment of the floating island and help prevent injury.
This manual is important. It should be kept in a safe place and passed on to any subsequent owners. Incorrect use of the floating island is dangerous and could result in serious injury or death.
A floating island can often put the user in unfamiliar situations.
A disciplined approach and sufficient swimming experience are essential. Anyone using this product should be aware of their own physical limitations.
Before each use, check the outer skin, seams (including bonded seams), and valves for leaks.
Use a suitable life jacket or buoyancy aid as this can save lives.
Observe the specified weight load, and never tie several islands together – it will not be possible to maneuver them. Always familiarise yourself with an area and avoid any rivers and lakes you don’t know. Safety instructions and tips for beginners are included in this manual.
The manufacturer and distributor cannot accept any liability if the information and safety instructions in this manual are ignored. Due to continuous development of our inflatables, we reserve the right to change the product including the colour, size, packaging or user manual at any time.

- This product is not designed for navigation, but as a platform for activities on the water. It can therefore not be maneuvered like a boat or similar.
- Do not make any technical modifications, such as attaching a motor. The construction of a floating island is not designed for this.
- Our manufacturers or suppliers will not be responsible or liable in any way for any direct, indirect or special consequential damage caused by, arising from, or in connection with the use or performance of this product. This includes financial losses due to theft, loss of property, loss of earnings, loss of enjoyment from the equipment itself, costs of assembly or disposal, damage due to environmental and weather conditions, or any other type of consequential loss.
- Use this device only as described in this manual, otherwise it will be considered improper use and may also pose a health risk.
- All defects caused by non-compliance with the user manual, improper handling, damage or unsuccessful repair attempts, as well as wear and tear from everyday use, are excluded from the warranty.
MAINTENANCE
Take care of your floating island to decrease the risk of injury. Before each use, check the outer skin, seams (including bonded seams), and valves for leaks. Also check the air valve before each use. The air pump should be greased from time to time. Use the repair kit to carry out minor repairs to the outer skin. If you are not sure, consult a professional or contact our customer service team. Only use original spare parts.
CLEANING
Clean the floating island after each use. The salt in seawater can damage and destroy the outer skin, so it is advisable to clean the inflatable with a garden hose and clear fresh water. Allow it to dry completely. Damp equipment could result in mould, and the bonded seams could break. Do not use any sharp, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents as this may damage the surface. If necessary, use a soft damp cloth soaked in a small amount of detergent or use a cleaner for inflatables from specialist dealers.
TRANSPORT & STORAGE
For transport, deflate the air chamber and carefully roll up the floating island (see page 11). When storing the island for a prolonged period, make sure it is kept in a dry and warm place that is not accessible to children or animals. Keep it slightly inflated to retain its shape. Do not fold and do not deflate completely for storage as this may cause the outer skin to break more easily and could damage the bonded sections.
Do not store in areas where there are evaporating chemicals, varnishes, thinners, or fuels such as petrol or diesel. Do not keep it in the same room where the boiler or heating oil is stored under any circumstances. Evaporating substances could damage the adhesive, resulting in the island no longer being leak-proof, and therefore rendering it unusable. This or any other improper use is excluded from the warranty.
THE FLOATING ISLAND
ASSEMBLY
Place the box in an area with sufficient space to unpack all the elements. Do not use a sharp implement to open the box.
Carefully remove the inflatable from the paper sleeve. Place the floating island on a large surface on the floor – the EVA pad should be facing upwards. Make sure the surface is level and free of any stones or sharp objects.
Remove the packaging.
Attach the end of the hose to the pump where it’s marked with the letters ‘INF’.
Remove the valve cap by turning it anticlockwise.
To inflate the island, push in the valve pin and turn it slightly so it sticks out.
Attach the end of the hose to the valve chamber by turning it slightly (clockwise).
The pump will have two or three functions: ‘single action’, ‘double action’ and ‘triple action’. Set the lever to ‘double action’ or ‘triple action’ and inflate the island.
Then detach the hose from the valve by turning it anticlockwise.
The valve head remains up even when inflated. Now put the valve cap back onto the valve chamber
Observe the maximum pressure allowed for your model (see table on page 11).
The valve cap must be tightly closed.
DISASSEMBLY & DEFLATION
Please note:
Never unscrew the valve from the floating island to deflate it. This should
only be done by a professional. A loud hissing sound may be heard as the air
escapes. If necessary, alert people in the immediate vicinity of this.
Remove the valve cap by turning it anticlockwise.
Push the valve pin in and while doing so, turn it slightly anticlockwise to let the air escape.
Next, slowly roll up the floating island in the direction of the opened valve, squeezing out the air in the process.
The residual air can be removed using the pump’s ‘deflate’ function. To do this, connect the hose to the opening that is marked ‘Deflation’.
Leave the valve open to allow any remaining air to escape.
Fold the sides of the floating island in half and roll up.
To locate a leak, slightly inflate the floating island. Then fill a spray bottle (such as those used to mist indoor plants) with warm water and some washing-up liquid.
Systematically spray the island with a thin layer of water. If small air and soap bubbles appear, you have located the hole.
The leak can be sealed quite easily all you need is a repair kit.
First generously clean the area around the leak with a soft dry cloth.
Cut a round piece from the repair patch. We recommend a distance of at least 5 cm from each side of the defective area.
Apply some adhesive to the patch. Wait approximately 2–3 minutes.
Now press the patch onto the area with the leak, applying quite a bit of pressure. Weigh down the patch with a heavy object and allow the adhesive to dry for approximately 12 hours. After that, apply some more adhesive to the edge of the repair and let everything dry for another 4–5 hours.
Check again to make sure the floating island has no further leaks. If you are confident there are no other leaks, the inflatable is ready to be used again. For major repairs or areas that are difficult to fix, please contact a local professional or our customer service department.
DISPOSAL
Please dispose of the packaging and the equipment via your regional waste disposal company and/or in the appropriate collection containers. Please follow the instructions of your municipal waste disposal company.
