Digital Alarm Clock Radio with USB Charging
IMPORTANT NOTES
- This safety and operating instruction should be retained for future reference.
- The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing or placed in a humid atmosphere such as a bathroom.
- Do not install the product in the following areas:
- Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to radiators.
- On top of other stereo equipment that radiate too much heat.
- Blocking ventilation or in a dusty area.
- Areas where there is constant vibration.
- Humid or moist places.
- Do not place near candles or other naked flames.
- Operate the product only as instructed in this manual.
Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is
properly connected.
For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the
inside of the product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel.
Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are
no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service
personnel.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read Instructions – All the safety and operating instructions must be read before the product is operated.
- Retain Instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be kept with the product for future reference.
- Heed warnings – All warnings on the product and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
- Follow instructions – All operating and users’ instructions should be followed.
- Water and moisture -To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product to train, dripping, splashing or excessive moisture such as in a sauna or bathroom. Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool (or similar).
- Object and Liquid Entry – Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Do not place any object containing liquid on top of the product.
- Servicing – Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Replacement parts – When replacement parts are required, ensure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
- Place your clock radio on a stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat or moisture.
- Protect your furniture when placing your units on a natural wood and lacquered finish by using a cloth or protective material between it and the furniture.
- Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
- Battery
1 ) The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- Battery usage CAUTION – to prevent battery leakage which may result in body
injuries, property damage, or damage to the apparatus:
– Install all batteries correctly, + and — as marked on the apparatus.
– Remove batteries when the unit is not used for a long time.
WARNING
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The apparatus must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed on the apparatus.
- To prevent fire or shock hazards, do not expose this equipment to hot places, rain, moisture or dust.
- Do not locate this unit near any water sources e.g. taps, bathtubs, washing machines or swimming pools. Ensure that you place the unit on a dry, stable surface.
- Do not place this unit close to a strong magnetic field.
- Do not place the unit on a amplifier or receiver.
- Do not place this unit in a damp area as the moisture will affect the life of electric components.
- If the clock is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lens inside the player. If this occurs, the system will not operate properly. Please leave the system turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.
- Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Wipe with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.

Environmental information
All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the packaging easy to separate into three materials: cardboard (box), polystyrene foam(buffer), and poly ethylene (bags, protective foam sheet). Your system consists of material which can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a specialized company. Please observe the local regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materials, exhausted batteries, and old equipment. Recording and playback of material might require consent. See Copyright Act 1956 and The Performer’s Protection Acts 1958 to 1972.
Power on clock radio
Insert the AC/DC adaptor to any 230V AC household outlet. Then insert the DC jack to the backside of your unit. Your clock radio will be powered on and ready to work for you.
Back up battery installation
Your clock radio requires 1 x CR2032 lithium battery (not included) to provide backup power to the clock in the event of a temporary power interruption.
- Place your unit face down on a flat surface.
- Slide and remove the battery cover at the bottom of your unit.
- Insert one fresh CR2032 lithium battery into the battery compartment with the”+” side facing up as indicated.
- Replace the battery cover.
If AC power is interrupted, the LED display will off and both the radio and the alarm will not function. The backup battery will keep the time and all settings of your unit. Make sure a fresh CR2032 lithium battery is used. A fresh CR2032 battery could backup your clock continuously for around 3 week.
Time, calendar and snooze setting
- Press and hold SET, the hour digits will flare. Press▼or▲ to set the hours. Press and hold ▼or▲ will accelerate your setting.
- Press SET again, the minute digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ to set the minutes. Press and hold ▼or will accelerate your setting.
- Press SET again, the display will show”24Hr”and flare, pressYorA to select 12Hr 24Hr. In 12Hr mode, P (PM) LED will appear on the display to indicate afternoon time.There is no AM indicator.
- Press SET again,”2016″digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ button to set the year.
- Press SET again, month digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ button to set the month.
- Press SET again, date digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ button to set the date.
- Press SET again, the display will show”05″ and flare. Press ▼or▲ to select your snooze time from 5 to 60 minutes.
- Press SET again or if no key pressed for approx. 10 seconds to exit the setting mode.
Alarm setting
-
Press and hold AL 1.2, the Al LED and the hour digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ to set the Alarm 1’s hours. Press and hold ▼or▲ will accelerate your setting.

Press AL 1.2 once again, the minute digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ to set the Alarm l’s minutes. Press and hold ▼or▲ will accelerate your setting.

Press AL 1.2 again, the LED display shows “bu”. Press ▼or▲ to select alarm source: bu = wake-to-buzzer rd = wake-to-radio

Press AL 1.2 again, the”1-7″digits will flare; Press ▼or▲ to select alarm wake up date between”6-7″or”1-5″or”1-1″.
1-5 = working day (Monday —Friday)
6-7 = weekend ( Saturday and Sunday)
1-7 = Weekly (Monday to Sunday)
1-1 = single-day alarm. After the alarm wake up, the Al LED goes off.
Press AL 1.2 once to re-active another single-day alarm of Alarm 1. -
Following the above steps, press AL 1.2 again, the A2 LED and the hour digits will flare. Press ▼or▲ to set the Alarm 2’s hours. Then repeat above step 2 4 to set alarm 2.

To store your alarm time settings, press SET once (or if no button is pressed in around 10 seconds), your clock radio will return to normal time display mode.

Short press the AL 1.2 repeatedly to activate or off alarm 1, alarm 2 or both.
-
When the related alarm is turned on, the Al, A2 or both LED will on and appear on the left side of the display.
Notes:
a. Alarm function only works when your clock radio is connected with AC/DC adaptor.
b. When alarm 1 or 2 is ring up, the related Al or A2 LED will flare. Press the RADIO / SLEEP or AL 1.2 once to stop the alarm and reset it to come on the following day, and the alarm LED will remain light on.
c. When alarm is ring up, press once, the alarm will in silence and re-wake up again after the set snooze duration.(default snooze duration is 5 minutes)
d. If your second alarm be activated while the first alarm is ring up, or it is in the snooze mode, the second alarm will override the first alarm (the first alarm is reset to come on the next day).
e.The alarm voice duration time is 1 hour in case of no further operation.
Dimmer
Press to select the LED brightness (HIGH- / LOW-dim) of the LED display.This
can only be done when the radio is off. When low-dim brightness is selected,
turn the knob at the backside to adjust your desired low-dim brightness.
Rotate the knob downwards to reduce and upwards to increase the Lo-dim
brightness.
Note: the high LED brightness is not adjustable. Tips: in case of better
rest at night, you can turn the display dime at lowest brightness by rotate
the knob on backside.
Radio operation
Before listen to the radio, please extend the FM wire antenna fully and vary the direction, or try to put the unit next to the window for best FM reception. Do not strip, alter or attach to other antennas.
- Short press RADIO/SLEEP once to turn on the radio, the display will show”ON”,and start the play then. Short Press to turn off the radio.
- Short press ▼or▲ to manual tune the radio frequency per 0.1 MHz. Press and hold ▼or▲ to auto scan the available station.
- Press VOL once, the display will show”L06″ (default volume), press for ▼or▲ to adjust output volume from LOO (sound off) to L15 (maximum).
- Manual tune or auto scan your favorite station; press and hold the SET until “POifflare on display; Press▼or▲ to select your desired preset station number between P01∼P10; Press SET once again to save the station. The unit can save up to 10 preset stations.
- To pick up the preset station for listening, please short press the SET.
- When you save a new station on the same preset number, the previous preset station will be overridden.
Remark: keep your radio away from fluorescent lamps or other electronic devices, which may cause interference to the radio.
Sleep
- At Radio mode, press and hold RADIO/SLEEP to activate the sleep mode, and the sleep LED will light on. Short press the RADIO/SLEEP repeatedly to adjust the sleep timer between 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 or OFF.
- When the display changes back to show the time, press and hold RADIO/SLEEP to show the sleep remained time.
- The radio will play for the programmed sleep time and then shut off automatically.
- To turn off the radio before the sleep time has elapsed, press once.
USB charging (5V/1A)
Connect the charging cable of your mobile phone to the A-type USB port at the back of the unit, then connect the other end to your mobile phone.The clock radio will charge the mobile phone automatically.
Remarks :
1. Make sure the original cable of your mobile phone’s original charging
cable for charging 2. Make sure the original adaptor enclosed with your clock
radio (5V 1.2A) is being used to power your clock radio. Using other adaptors
may not charge your phone. 3. iPad and Notepad charging is not applicable.
4.The USB rating output is 5V/1 A.
Troubleshooting
If your clock radio displays irrelevant time or does not function properly, which may be caused by electro-static discharge or other interference, unplug the DC jack to disconnect the AC power (and remove the backup battery) and leave it for few minutes before powering it up again.The clock radio will be reset to default settings and you need to set it again.
