Unable to Pair?
Please make sure that your headphones/speaker has been put into Bluetooth
Pairing Mode. Please refer to your headphones/speaker’s user manual for more
details.
No Sound?
Is the LED light at bottom of the Orbit flashing? If yes, then 1) make sure
both ends of the audio cable have been FIRMLY plugged in; 2) replace the audio
cable; 3) if you’re using the AUX input port, turn up the volume on your TV/
audio source.
Product Overview & basic operations
Power up and turn on the transmitter
- Using the USB Type-C cable provided, connect the transmitter to either a USB port on the TV (TV must be ON to provide power) or a 5V/500mA-2A rated USB charger (e.g. your phone charger should work).
- Slide the to ON
Pair & Connect Your Bluetooth Headphone/Speaker/Receiver
Enter your headphones/speaker into PAIRING mode
Please refer to your headphones/speaker’s user manual for details.
Search & Connect your device to the Transmitter
- Click to search for your device on the transmitter. The bottom of the screen should now display “Searching”.
- Use ∧ / ∨ to select your device, and then click ↵ to connect. The bottom of the screen should now display “Connecting”.
- Once connected, will appear next to your device on the LCD screen. The bottom of the screen should say “Connected”.
Add another headphone to the transmitter
The transmitter can work with two headphones simultaneously; simply repeat the
instructions above to pair & connect the 2nd headphone.
For next use
Turn on your headphones, give them 3-5 seconds, they should automatically
reconnect.
If they don’t, click ↵once to manually reconnect.
Connect the Transmitter to your TV/Audio Source
Check your TV/Audio Source output options
If your TV has Digital Optical Out
Please use the Optical cable to connect your TV to the OPT INPUT port on the
transmitter.

Go to your TV’s SOUND settings, make sure that the AUDIO OUTPUT has been set to “External Speaker” or “Optical Out”. Some TVs automatically complete this step for you, some don’t.

Since Bluetooth cannot handle Dolby/DTS, you need to go to TV’s SOUND settings, make sure that the DIGITAL AUDIO FORMAT has been set to PCM (or STEREO) If you see DOLBY in the menu, turn it OFF

Ensure that the MIC/AUX/OPT audio input switch on the transmitter has been switched to the “OPT” position.
Now you can stream audio from your TV.
Note: If you don’t know how to change the settings on your TV, or if you
cannot hear anything through the headphones after changing the settings, we
recommend that you contact your TV manufacturer for support.
If your TV has an AUX/3.5mm Out
Please use the AUX cable to connect your TV to the AUX INPUT port on the
transmitter.
Ensure that the MIC/AUX/OPT audio input switch on the transmitter has been
switched to the AUX position.
Now you can stream audio from your TV.
If you still can’t hear anything through the headphones, please set the Sound
Out/Speaker setting on your TV to “Wired headphones” or “Headset”.
If your TV has Red/White Audio Out (RCA – only for TV)
Please use the AUX cable & the 3.5mm to RCA Audio adapter (both provided in
the package) to connect your TV to the AUX input port on the transmitter.
Ensure that the MIC/AUX/OPT audio input switch on the transmitter has been
switched to the AUX position.
Now you can stream audio from your TV.
If you still can’t hear anything through the headphones, please set the Sound
Out/Speaker setting on your TV to “External Speaker”; ensure that you’re using
the Red/White ports labeled “ AUDIO OUT ”, other Red/White ports will NOT
work.
If your TV has Red/White Audio Out (RCA – only for TV)
Please use the AUX cable & the 3.5mm to RCA Audio adapter (both provided in
the package) to connect your TV to the AUX input port on the transmitter.
Ensure that the MIC/AUX/OPT audio input switch on the transmitter has been
switched to AUX position.
Now you can stream audio from your TV.
If you still can’t hear anything through the headphones, please set the Sound
Out/Speaker setting on your TV to “External Speaker”; ensure that you’re using
the Red/White ports labeled “ AUDIO OUT ”, other Red/White ports will NOT
work.
If you cannot reach/do not have Output Ports on your TV
If your TV audio output ports are hard to reach or if no audio port is
available on your TV, you may use the TV’s built-in speaker.
Simply place the external microphone near your TV speaker, plug the other end
of the external microphone into the MIC input port on the transmitter.
Ensure that the MIC/AUX/OPT audio input switch on the transmitter has been
switched to MIC position.
Now you can stream audio from your TV.
If your Receiver has a 6.35mm phone jack in the front
Ensure that the MIC/AUX/OPT audio input switch on the transmitter has been
switched to the AUX position.
Please do NOT use the RED/WHITE ports on the back of your AV receiver, they
may permanently damage the transmitter. Please ONLY use the BIG 6.35MM PHONE
OUT on the front of your AV Receiver with the 6.35mm to 3.5mm adapter. Plug
any wired headphones into the converter plug, lower the volume on the Receiver
for safety, and test to see if there is any audio from your headphones.
Lowering the volume beforehand is a safety measure to prevent damage to your
ears.
Simultaneous Sound from Headphones AND a Soundbar
The unique “Bypass” feature allows the transmitter and your soundbar to share the same optical or headphone port on the TV and have audio played through BOTH the soundbar and the Bluetooth headphones at the same time. Please make sure that you use the same type of input/output, e.g.
- If you’re using the OPTICAL cable with TV, please use an OPTICAL cable to connect to the sound system.
- If you’re using the AUX/RCA cable to connect to the TV, please use an AUX/RCA cable to connect to the sound system. When you turn off the transmitter, you’ll still be able to hear the audio from your sound system, no need to unplug and plug anything. When you only want to hear audio from your Bluetooth headphones, simply turn off your sound system.
