Powering up the transmitter

Power up the transmitter with the micro-USB cable provided. You may use either a USB port on your TV or a wall plug (via a USB adapter that supports 5V /500mA-2A.)

Preparation before set up

  • If your TV is connected to your sound system (e.g. Sound Bar, AV receiver, external speaker) already, we suggest that you use Oasis Plus’s unique “bypass” features. Please refer to Section 1 on how to use it.
  • If you’re only using it with your TV, please refer to Section 2
  • If you’re using it as a Bluetooth receiver (Bluetooth-enabling your speaker or sound system,) please refer to Section 3

The unique “Bypass” feature allows you to use the Oasis Plus AND the Sound bar/Sound System at the same time. They can also share the same Optical or Headphone port on the TV. Please make sure that you use the same type of input / output, e.g.

  • If you’re using the OPTICAL cable with TV, please use OPTICAL cable to connect to sound system.
  • If you’re using the AUX/RCA cable to connect to TV, please use AUX/ RCA cable to connect to sound system.
  • When you turn off the transmitter, you’ll still be able to hear the audio from your sound system, no need to unplug and plug anything.

When you only want to hear audio from your Bluetooth headphone, simply turn off your sound system. Please check your TV output and choose the correct cable to set up Oasis Plus with TV, refer to the setting steps in section 2

Section 2 Connecting the Transmitter to your TV

Pair and connect to Bluetooth headphones/receiver

  1. Slide the Mode switch to the “TX” position.

  • Keep them close to each other and wait. Once connected, the “TX” LED will stop flashing and A will light up.

Reconnect

The transmitter will automatically reconnect to the most recently connected device once that device has been switched ON. Alternatively, reboot the transmitter and wait 5-10 seconds for them to reconnect.

If the “A” indicator on the transmitter is on, it means that the connection between the transmitter and headphone/speaker is working. The next step is to feed the audio from your TV into the transmitter. After you’ve connected the transmitter to your TV/audio while following the steps shown in the sections below, if you still cannot hear anything through your headphones, please either adjust your TV audio output setting as suggested or contact your TV manufacturer for support.
