Introduction to the Cave Wireless Siren

The Cave Wireless Siren comes with everything you need to add to your existing Cave system. Installation is simple and does not require a professional electrician.

Step 1 Deactivate the Anti-Tamper Button

Lay the Cave Wireless Siren on a flat surface, ensuring the ‘Anti-Tamper Button’ on the back of the siren is not activated during installation.

Step 2 Insert the batteries

Remove the front casing from the siren and open the silicone flap to expose the power input ports. Insert 3 x D batteries (not included) and switch the ‘ON/OFF’ to ‘ON’.
Warning! Once the batteries are inserted the siren will trigger if the ‘Anti- Tamper Button’ is activated. To stop this from happening the ‘Anti-Tamper Button’ will need to be depressed throughout the installation.

Step 3 Adding the siren to the Cave app

On the home screen select ‘Add Accessory’ and click on ‘Learn Mode’. ‘Add Accessory’ is also on the System Setting’ page.

Step 4 Start learning

From the dropdown list select the ‘Wireless Siren’ and click ‘Start Learning’. Follow the on-screen instructions for pairing and naming the accessory. The new accessory will be saved under ‘Accessories Management’.

Step 5 Mounting the siren

Tools required Power drill and screwdriver.
When mounting the siren ensure it is positioned out of reach to prevent tampering. Using the siren backplate as a template mark out and check mounting positions before drilling the holes. When inserting the screws leave enough visible to hang the siren from. Only use a ladder if you are competent using one, otherwise, seek professional assistance.
