Introduction:

Thank you for choosing the EFM INDIO BLUETOOTH SPEAKER! You can use this product with any Bluetooth-compatible device to stream music and enjoy hands- free calling. In order to get the best results when using the speaker, please read this manual first.

Important Safety Precautions:

To ensure the safe use of your EFM INDIO BLUETOOTH SPEAKER, please follow these precautions:

  1.  Keep the speaker and charging cable away from sources of excessive heat.
  2. Do not operate the speaker with a damaged cable or after it has malfunctioned or been damaged in any way.
  3.  Do not attempt to disassemble the speaker unit.

Speaker Functions:

Power on/off function:

To power on the speaker unit, press and hold “ 0 ” for 3 seconds or until the ‘Status LED’ comes on.
To power on the speaker unit, press and hold “ 0 ” for 3 seconds or until the ‘Status LED’ goes out.

Charging your speaker:

  1. Connect one end of the supplied USB charging cable to the charging port on your speaker.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB charging cable into a suitable USB port on your computer or compatible charging device. The LED indicator light will show red and will turn off once the speaker is fully charged.

We recommended charging the speaker for 10mins before powering on if the unit has been unused for a week or more.

Pairing your speaker:

  1. Ensure that the Bluetooth device you intend to pair is within 3m of the speaker unit and that the speaker unit is powered on.
  2.  Activate the Bluetooth function on your device. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions if you are unsure how to activate this function.
  3.  In your device’s Bluetooth manager and select ‘EFM INDIO from the menu. If required, enter the password ‘0000’ to confirm & finalise pairing.
  4. Once successfully paired, a tone will sound and the white LED indicator light will glow continuously.
  5.  To disconnect, select ‘EFM INDIO’ from the menu in your device’s Bluetooth manager and deselect it.

The speaker will automatically reconnect to devices that support automatic reconnection.

Volume/track function:

To change the volume while listening to music;
Increase volume: Short press on the “+” button
Decrease volume: Short press on the “- “ button
To change the track while listening to music;
Previous song: Long press on the “-” button
Next song: Long press on the “+” button
To change the volume during a call;
Increase volume: Long press on the “+” button.
Decrease volume: Long press on the “- “ button.

Multi-function button:

Use the multi-function ( ) button to;

  •  Play/pause a track
  • Answer an incoming call
  • End a call

Call Function:

When connected to your device via Bluetooth, incoming calls will automatically come through the speaker unit.

  • To answer an incoming call, short press the “ ” button.
  • To end a call, short press the “ ” button again. Music will continue to play once the call has ended.
  •  To reject an incoming call, long-press the “ ” button.
  •  To call back the last number called, short press the “ ” twice.

TWS Function (Connect Two):

You can pair 2 EFM Indio Speakers together to create a surround sound effect. To do this;

  1.  Turn both speakers on but do not pair them to your device via Bluetooth.
  2. Long press the “  ” button on the first speaker unit until you hear a “TWS Paired” this should take 1-2 seconds to pair.
  3. To pair your device, go to the Bluetooth manager in your device and select ‘EFM INDIO’ from the menu. Pair as usual. Both speakers should now be paired.

To Disconnect Paired Speakers;
Press the “ ” button on the first speaker unit until you hear a ‘TWS Disconnected’ tone.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
EFM ® will happily repair or replace defective goods for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty is against defects in the EFM® goods purchased and does not cover damage caused by the incorrect use or installation of the goods, or by modifications, or by accident.
To claim under the warranty, you need to return the faulty product to the place of purchase (at your expense) with valid proof of purchase. If you are not able to return the  product to the place of purchase, you can contact:
