Power Up the Transmitter Dock

Connect the Transmitter Dock to a powe r source using the charging cable Ⓒ. You may use either the TV’s USB port or any 5V/500mA-2A rated plug.
Note: Contact us at support@avantree.com for a FREE USB wall charger (for US / UK / EU ) if you need one.

Step 1: Connecting the Medley Dock to Your TV/Audio Source

Contact us at support@avantree.com for a FREE external microphone if you need one.

Depending on what your TV/Audio Source has, use any ONE of the connections mentioned above.

• If your TV/Audio Source has Digital OPTICAL/TOSLINK/SPDIF Out (Recommended!), refer to Fig.4.1
• If your TV/Audio Source has AUX 3.5mm/Headphones Out, refer to Fig.4.2
• If your TV/Audio Source has Red/White RCA Audio Out, refer to Fig.4.3 The TV Red & White RCA ports must be labeled “AUDIO OUT” to work. Other Red/White ports are incorrect.
• Hard-to-reach or No Audio ports on TV? Refer to Fig.4.4 The external microphone is not included in the package; contact us at support@avantree.com for a FREE microphone if you need one.

Step 2: Connecting the Neckband Headphone to the Transmitter Dock

1. Turn on the headphones
2. Turn on the transmitter
3. Light turns SOLID BLUE once connected

Follow instructions above to power everything on.

Step 3: TV Setting- ONLY if using TV OPTICAL/TOSLINK/SPDIF Port

Use your TV remote to go into your TV’s SETTINGS MENU, Set TV Audio Format to PCM/Stereo.
Do NOT select AUTO, DOLBY, or BITSTREAM !

Streaming audio through the Bluetooth headphones and the sound system

simultaneously.

If your TV is connected to a sound system (e.g. external soundbar, AV receiver, external speaker), our unique “Bypass” feature allows you to connect the transmitter to both the TV and its sound system at the same time. Even if the transmitter turns off, the Bypass feature will still work.

• If your sound system has OPTICAL input port, then connect the sound system to the transmitter using optical audio cable. Refer to Fig.7.1.
• If your sound system has AUX input port, then connect the sound system to the transmitter using Aux audio cable. Refer to Fig.7.2

Charging the Headphone

Please charge the headphones when you hear the “low battery” voice prompt, or when the LED indicator ⑫ becomes solid RED.
