CAUTION: This device is warranted to last 2 years from the date of purchase. If it fails before that time, we will replace it. Send Globe Electric the device, proof of purchase, and register receipt along with your complete name and address. See caution text for proper use. This warranty is void if this product is misused in any way. This replacement is the sole remedy available and liability for incidental or consequential damage is expressly excluded.
For use only in 120V/60HZ circuits. Risk of electrical shock. Do not open, no user-serviceable parts inside. This device is not intended for use with emergency exit fixtures or emergency exit lights, photocells, and electronic timers. The minimum operating temperature is -20°C (-4°F).

    connected to the receptacle. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation. Ensure that the power unit and cord do not
    interfere with completely closing the receptacle cover.

  9. WARNING: Risk of Fire. Installation involves special wiring methods to run wiring through a building structure. Consult a qualified electrician.

  10. For a unit intended to be mounted greater than 0.30m (1 foot) from the ground surface.

WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Mount the unit at a height greater than 1 foot from the ground surface.
For direct plug-in units, in accordance with fully engaging into a standard receptacle that is weatherproof only when the receptacle is covered (attachment plug cap not inserted and receptacle cover closed). With reference to the instruction “WARNING: Risk of Fire. Installation involves special wiring methods to run wiring through a building structure. Consult a qualified electrician”, there shall be no literature, carton markings, or illustrations depicting or implying running wiring through a building structure.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1
Connect the controller and the outdoor cable to the power adapter.

Step 2
If the Lights are going to be used in the garden, connect the ground spike to the LED head using the included Allen Key.
Screw the LED head to the top part of the ground spike.

*The LED head can be mounted onto a preferred location, such as a deck, without the use of the ground spike. To do so, remove the swivel base from the LED head using the Included Allen key, attach the base in the desired location and reattach the LED head.

Step 3
Connect each of the LED lights to one of the ends of the outdoor cable. Please make sure to properly align both ends of the cables for a proper connection and then tighten the seal.

Step 4
Connect the power adapter to an outlet. Follow the “Connecting Instructions” (next page).

Place the outdoor lights in your preferred location and enjoy!

CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure your mobile device is running iOS 9.0/watchOS 2.0/Android™ 4.4 or higher.

  1. Let’s get started!globe GE50454 Smart Garden Spotlight - app • Download the Globe Suite™ app from the App Store or Google Play to your mobile device
    • Launch the Globe Suite™ app
    • To register, enter your email address, create a password, then log in to the app
    OR
    • Log in if you already have an account

  2. Verify your network • Verify your network and ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel
    • Consult your router documentation for detailed instructions on how to change wireless settings

  3. Scan mode
    • Power on your device
    • Select the “+” symbol on the top right-hand corner
    • Follow instructions within the app
    • If your device is flashing rapidly and fails, try using EZ Mode
    EZ mode
    • Select the “+” symbol on the top right-hand corner
    • Select “Manual”
    • Select your product type and follow the instructions within the app
    • If the connection fails, try using AP mode
    AP mode
    • Select the “+” symbol on the top right-hand corner
    • Select “Manual”
    • Select your product type
    • Open the menu on the top right-hand corner and select “AP mode”
    • Follow the instructions within the app

  4. Set up voice assistance
    • Select “Profile,” and select “Integration”
    • Select your voice assistant and follow the instructions within the app

Did you know?
Most modern routers are dual-band, meaning they support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels.
The most common wireless options are:

  • Mixed: The router will broadcast both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously under the same SSID. The device will choose which to connect to based on multiple variables (congestion, distance to the router, etc.).
  • 2.4 GHz: Broadcast only on this channel
  • 5 GHz: Broadcast only on this channel
  • Dual 2.4 and 5 GHz using Separate SSIDS: The router will broadcast both channels and the user manually decides which to connect to
