Default Keyboard Layout

LED Instruction

  • LED 1: CapsLock
  • LED 2: Macro
  • LED 3: Mac / Windows

Macro Programming Instructions

  • Macro keys cannot be assigned in the dafault layer.
  • Macro keys cannot be assigned for Fn/Pn keys.
  1.  Choose Layer 1~3 (Pn+ </>/? )
    Press Pn + M / Pn + < / Pn+ > / Pn + ? to select the desired setting layer.
    a. Pn + M = Default Layer = LED 2 OFF
    b. Pn + < = Layer 1 = LED 2 light up once
    c. Pn + > = Layer 2 = LED 2 light up once
    d. Pn + ? = Layer 3 = LED 2 light up onc

  2.  Press Fn + R_Ctrl to enter programming mode (LED 2 light up)

  3.  Press the key you want to program (LED 2 start flashing )

  4.  Key in the programming sequence then Press Pn to save the new setting.

  5. Repeat step 3 and step 4 to program other keys.

  6. Press Fn + R_Ctrl to exit programming mode (LED 2 light off)

Remapping Function

  • You cannot remapping in default layer.
  • Remapping keys cannot be assigned for L_shift/R_Shift/R_Ctrl keys.
  1. Press Fn + L_Shift for about 3 seconds (LED 2 start flashing)
    (For the Pn Key, Pn + L_Shift for 3 seconds, LED 2 start flashing)

  2. Press any Key to choose a new position for Fn/Pn.

  3. End of process.

Reset Function

  • Reset current single layer (to factory settings): Choose Layer 1, 2 or 3 then press Fn +R for about 3 seconds. (All led will flash 2 times)
  • Full Keyboard Reset (to factory settings): Press R_Alt and L_Alt together for about 5 seconds. (All led will flash 5 times) (Warning: all programmed layers, macros and remaps will be lost.)

Switching the Keyboard Layout

  • Press Fn + “ to switch layout (cycling); All led flash 2 time
  • Default layout: QWERTY.
  • QWERTY > DVORAK > COLEMAK > QWERTY…

* 2.4 GHz Dongle pairing

  1. Plug in the dongle to PC.
  2. Press Pn + Home around 3 seconds to start pairing.
  • NOTE If keyboard couldn’t find the device over 3 minutes, keyboard will stop pairing process.
  • NOTE: If keyboard not working over 15 minutes, keyboard will go into sleep mode.
    * NOTE: Dongle Transmission distance: 8~10 Meters

Battery status: When the battery voltage falls below 2.2v, all led will start flashing once a second.
Under 2.4GHz mode, the indicator will light off after 10 seconds due to power saving.

How to Upgrade The Firmware (Only available on Windows OS)

  1.  Download new firmware from MISTEL web site.
  2. MISTEL can also send new firmware to you by direct mail. Remember to convert the files from .ex to .exe format to make it an executable file.
  3.  Connect your keyboard and computer. Start the firmware update program and press OK to update to the new firmware.
