How Does Yachyee Ipl Hair Removal Device Work?

Yachyee IPL hair removal device is designed to help break the cycle of hair growth. Light energy is transferred through the skin‘s surface and is absorbed by melanin present in the hair shaft. The absorbed light energy is converted to heat energy which disables the hair follicle. Treated hairs naturally fall out over the course of a few days to 1-2 weeks. Continuous use can prevent hair growth in the long term.

What to Expect

In the first few weeks following the initial treatments, you will still see some hairs growing. These are likely to be hairs that were missed during treatment.

Around 6 weeks into the treatment program you should see a reduction in hair growth. However, many hairs may still not have been treated in their growth phase. It is important to continue the weekly treatments. After the 12 week program, you should see a significant reduction in hairs within the treated area. Any remaining hairs should be finer and lighter in color.

Press the “Mode Button” to select mode

1. Long press to enter ”AUTO” Mode
2. Each press to release a flash (Please make sure there is an interval of 5 seconds between each press)

Press the “Intensity/Power on/off Button” to power on/off device and adjust intensity

1. Long press to turn on/off the device
2. Short press to select Intensity(1-9 Intensity)

Press the Function Button to choose function

1. Short press to select hair removal/skin rejuvenation/acne removal/function and whether it has ice cool(double press to switch a function)
2. Each function has 2 options, with/without ice cool. Press it again after entering the ice cool mode, the ice cool function will disappear.

Three Mode:

HR(Hair removal): Use the penetrability of strong pulses to reach the hair follicles, causing the hair follicles to generate instantaneous high temperature, causing the hair follicles to be destroyed, and the hair growth rate is slow to achieve the hair removal effect.
SC(Skin rejuvenation): IPL as a light source can activate substances to shrink the cortical glands.
RA(Remove acne mark): During IPL treatment, the melanin of acne marks will be reduced.

Note: Do not use 2 or more functions on the same part of your body with in one day.

Yachyee IPL hair removal device is ideal for lighter skin tones. NOT applicable to dark brown and black skin; It’s ideal for brown-to-dark hair NOT applicable to blonde, red, gray, white hair. Please see skin tone chart below.

Patch Test

Before your first treatment, we recommend you test your skin for reaction to Yachyee IPL hair removal device on a small area of skin of the body part you plan to treat (about2 x 3 cm in size). Wait 48 hours to examine the test area. If the skin appears normal, begin your first treatment. If a skin reaction develops not good, discontinue using the device and consult your physician.

Steps of Using

1. Clean your skin and shave off the hair from the desired treatment area.

2. Wear goggles to prevent the treatment flash from irritating your eyes.

3. Plug in power and press the power button for 1-2 seconds to tum on the device.

4. Press the “Function Switch” button to enter the hair removal mode when the screen is displayed as HR.

5. Press power button once to adjust light intensity(1-9 intensities), it is suggested to start from lower intensities such 1 or 2.When your skin gets adapted to it, you can choose higher intensities for better effect on hair removal.

6. Press the “Mode Button” to select your wanted treatment mode: Manually or Automatic Mode.
   Manually Mode: Each press on “Flash Button” releases a single flash. This mode is ideal to treat small and curvy areas like bikini area and armpits.
   Automatic Mode: Long press “Flash Button” until LCD screen displays “AUTO” simply slide the device over your skin to release several flashes in a row. This mode offers convenient use on larger areas like legs.

7. Press the device at 90° firmly onto your skin to ensure proper skin contact, move the device slowly and continuously from the bottom to the top of the treatment area to avoid missing areas. Make sure to always keep full contact with skin.

8. Shave, clean and dry the desired treatment area

11. Choose suitable mode and intensity
    

12. Erect the device on your Skin in 90° and press the flash button
    

13. Apply some lotion to moisturize the skin after hair removal finished
    

Ice Cool

Yachyee IPL hair removal device adopts freezing point technology, which can avoid damage to the skin, let the pulsed light pass through the cooling area, start from the light wave itself, comprehensive ice protection to reject heat damage, so as to achieve the effect of alleviating pain.

Body Area

The device is intended to be used on body hair below the neck, including arms, underarms, bikini line and legs.

Women: Legs, arms, underarms, bikini area and face (below the cheek bones) (Please use low intensity (1-5) for sensitive skin areas such as face, underarms and bikinis)

CAUTION: Do not use the device near the eyes, along the forehead, on the lips or nostrils, do not use it in the genital area.

Men: Shoulders and below (chest, back, arms, stomach, legs)

CAUTION: Do not use on the face, neck or genital area.

How to Treat the Face (female only)

Before treating the face, make sure you have done a patch test, removed any visible hair and cosmetics, lotions and creams from the area you wish to treat.

• Before pressing the treatment button, close your eyes or look away to avoid
  the bright light. Avoid treating the same area twice.

• When treating the upper lip area, avoid contact with the lips and the nostrils.
  The central area below the nostrils might be sensitive.

• Do not use on permanent/ semi-permanent lip liner.

• You can press your lips together to ensure that the flash does not touch the upper lip.

Possible Side Effects

Some people will experience slight discomfort (e.g. heat or redness of the skin) when using the device, this is normal. You may feel heat and tingling when activating the flash, followed by redness in the skin. This type of reaction usually disappears within 24 hours. Adverse reactions are usually immediate or appear within 24 hours. In rare cases, they may take up to 72 hours to appear. Safety Instructions

Do not use on

• Scalp, eyebrows or anywhere near or around the eyes. Use in these areas may permanently damage your eyes.
• A tattoo or permanent makeup in the treatment area.
• Nipples, genitals or around the anus. These areas may have a darker skin color and/or greater hair density and using the device in these areas may cause discomfort/pain or injure your skin.
• Dark brown or black spots such as freckles, birthmarks, moles or warts in the treatment area.
• Beard / facial hair for men.

Contraindications

Do Not Use the Device

• If your skin is darker than skin tone V shown on the skin tone chart on page
• Since dark skin absorbs more light energy, treating very dark skin may cause discomfort/pain and adverse effects and injure your skin.
• If you are pregnant, lactating, or under the age of 18 as this device has not been tested with these individuals.
• If you have a history of skin cancer or precancerous lesions.
• If your skin has been artificially or naturally tanned recently. Your skin may be sensitive following sun exposure and particularly susceptible to side effects of IPL treatment (e.g. burn, blister, discolor or scar to your skin).
  Also, avoid unprotected exposure to direct sunlight after your IPL treatment.

Danger

• Do not allow the machine to work continuously for more than 20 minutes.
  Unplug the power every 10 minutes and let the machine rest for 10 minutes before continuing to use it.

• Never attempt to repair and open the device, as this may expose you to dangerous electrical components and to pulsed light energy, either of which may cause serious bodily damage and/or permanent eye injury.

• Do not use in or near water and wet surfaces such as bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels that may contain water. If the device becomes wet, it should not be used. Electric shock may result from using a wet device.

• Do not use if the device is damaged (e.g. cracked housing, cord damage etc).
  Internal parts contain electric charges that are hazardous.

• Do not use if the goggles is cracked or missing. Regularly inspect the goggles for damage.

Disposal

The product contains recyclable electronic waste. To protect the environment, do not dispose of it in the household waste, but take it to appropriate local collection points.
