Locate the vehicle’s diagnostic port and detach it from its original location.

Apply the Type 2 Indicator Label.

Attach appropriate mounting clip—match up the colored line with a white line on the connector, and ensure the teeth lock at the 2 locations.

Connect Samsara cable to vehicle port and twist to lock.

Mount new port to the stock location.

Plug the Samsara gateway connector into the Gateway. It will click when fully inserted.

Fasten connected gateway in a secure position. Verify the gateway indicator light turns green, this could take 1-3 minutes.
