- When double pan is used for preparation of 2 x 500 g of bread the ingredients should be equally divided into both baking chambers, i.e. each chamber will house 250 g of the bread mix + corresponding volume of water and yeast.
- When double pan is used for preparation of 1 x 400 g of buns, baguettes and muffins.

- Yeast cannot come into contact with water before the programme is started.
Excessive dough could spill over and get stuck to the heating element.
- When using the timer, never use perishable ingredients, such as fresh milk, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, onion, etc. as they could go bad over night!
- Use the bread maker only in rooms with a temperature over 18 °C. Yeast starts working at a temperature of approx. 17 °C or more. If the bread maker is used in a colder room, the dough may not prove well.
- The add-ingredients signal sound (for adding nuts, seeds, dried fruit, etc.) and end-of-programme signal sound cannot be switched off and they will sound at night as well.

V. PREPARATION FOR USE AND BREAD-MAKING PROCESS

Before first use, wash all the parts which will come into contact with food in hot water with detergent, rinse them properly with fresh water and wipe or let them dry.

Bread-making process:

  1. Place the bread maker on a flat and dry surface. Remove the pan C , pulling it out of the appliance.
  2. Place the kneading hooks E on the shafts C2 in the pan C (the flat areas of the kneading hooks must point downwards). Position the hooks in the bread pan so that they face each other, not move away from each other.
  3. Place the ingredients in pan C according to the recipe. Always follow the basic rule add all the liquid ingredients first, followed by loose ingredients and finally yeast.
  4. Place the bread pan C with the ingredients into the bread maker.
  5. Connect the bread maker to the mains.
  6. With the MENU, SIZE, COLOUR and TIME buttons, set the required programme.
  7. Start the selected programme with the START/PAUSE/STOP button.
  8. Wait till the programme finishes (you will hear a signal sound).
  9. When the programme is finished, remove the pan C from the bread maker and place it upside down on a heat-resistant mat (e.g. a chopping board). If the bread is stuck to the pan, move the kneading shafts a few times back and forth until the loaf is released.
  10. If the kneading hooks are left in the loaf, you can take them out easily with the tool F (see Fig. 1).
  11. Allow the bread to cool down before serving.

Buns, baguettes and muffins-making process (see Fig. 3):
- The wire rack and insert both the baking forms in it (i.e. D1 or D2 or D3 ). Proceed in reverse order to disassemble/remove all the components.
- Following an appropriate recipe, prepare the dough (e.g. using the 11 or 14 or 15 programme).
- Wait till the last kneading cycle is finished, programme is interrupted (you will hear a signal sound 10x).
- Remove the bread-baking form from the bread maker.
- The well-risen dough must then be kneaded properly, shaped into the appropriate size and form of a Baguette/Buns, and put into the form (for the MUFFINS we recommend using the “ Cupcakes ” Ø 45 mm).
- Depending on the food processed, use suitable accessory (i.e. D1 or D2 or D3 ).
- Insert the holder D with form with the baguettes to the baking area and close the lid.
- By pressing press and hold the MENU button for about 3 seconds (the control panel has unlocked) and pressing the START/STOP button, switch on the bread maker now.
- Wait till the programme finishes (you will hear a signal sound).

Notes

- The bread maker automatically mixes and kneads dough until the required consistency is reached. When the last kneading cycle is finished, the bread maker heats up to an optimum dough rising temperature. Then it automatically sets the temperature and baking time.
- With very heavy types of dough, e.g. dough with a high content of rye flour, we recommend changing the order of ingredients - dried yeast first, followed by flour, and finally liquids so that the dough could be worked properly. When using the timer (delay start) make sure that yeast does not come into contact with liquids prematurely.

VI. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Let the bread maker cool down properly before any maintenance work! Do not use any aggressive chemicals or solvents for cleaning! Clean the bread pan and kneading hooks as soon as possible after use. If the hooks are not easy to remove from the shafts, fill the pan with warm water and leave them to soak (for about 30 min.). Remove the kneading hooks. Clean the inside of the pan C, D1, D2, D3 and kneading hooks with a cloth (sponge) and water with a little detergent. Clean the outside of the pan with a wet cloth. Never use metal or sharp objects for cleaning! Never immerse the whole pan in water! It could have a negative impact on the shaft rotation. Clean the bread maker with a wet cloth. Before every other use, dry all parts and surface of the bread maker thoroughly (e.g. moisture condensation). Never soak the bread baker in water or fill the baking space with water! Let all the parts dry properly after maintenance. The surface colour will change over time which is normal. This change does not affect the surface properties.

Storage
Make sure that the bread maker is cold and dry before storage. Store the bread maker in a safe and dry place, out of the reach of children and incapacitated persons.

Maintenance of a serious nature or maintenance which requires interference with the internal parts of the appliance must be carried out by a professional service centre! By failing to follow the instructions issued by the manufacturer, the right to the warranty service will be invalidated!

If you are unable to fix the problem, or if you need any further information about the appliance or service centres, please contact your distributor.
