PRODUCT OVERVIEW
BATTERY TYPE
Built-in 630mAh 3.7V Rechargeable Lithium Polymer Battery.
HOW TO USE THE ADHESIVE METAL BADGE
- Clean and dry the paste position.
- Gently and carefully peel out the protective film and DO NOT touch the sticky side.
- Paste the sticky side of the adhesive metal badge onto the desired position and press it evenly until it is fixed in place.
- Attach the Obulb MCs on the adhesive metal badge.
NOTICE
- The output brightness will decrease as the battery runs low and its voltage decreases, until the light goes off.
- The Obulb MCs can be charged with an MCC1A/MCC3 cable that has a slower charging rate than the MCA adapter. While charging with an MCC cable, the power input is similar to the power used when the Obulb MCs’ motion sensor is active. Therefore, it will take longer to fully charge the product (the charging indicator turns green).
- The battery has a thermal protection feature. When the battery is working in a temperature higher than 40C, the light output of Obulb MCs may flicker.
WARNING
- DO NOT drop the light or impact it heavily to protect the built-in battery.
- DO NOT charge the product if it becomes dirty or wet after used in a wet place. Before charging, please clean and dry it.
- DO NOT let a pet play with it, in case the pet will bite and damage it.
- DO NOT hit it as a ball, which may cause irreversible damage.
- DO NOT use it as a baby toy.
- It may be damaged or distorted at a temperature of 60C or higher.
- Input voltage higher than 5V or voltage fluctuation may damage the IC, lead to short-circuit and even melt the charging interface
UNLOCK THE LIGHT BEFORE FIRST USE
CHARGING TO UNLOCK THE PRODUCT BEFORE FIRST USE.
NOTE:
- When the charging cable is connected for the first time, it is normal that the indicator of the cable flashes red once or twice to signal charging cable detection.
- During the process of charging, the indicator will be delayed for 1 second to turn off after disconnection with the charger.
CHARGING
- Before first use please fully charge the product.
- Plug the MCA adapter into an external AC power source, and then attach the Obulb MCs to the magnetic charging port of the MCA adapter for charging. It takes 1.5 hours to fully charge. The full charging voltage of the magnetic port is 4.2V ± 0.05V.
- USB Type-A port output: 5V/2.4A; Magnetic port output: 4.2V/2A (max).
- MCA adapter input voltage: 100-240Vac, 50/60Hz
- The red indicator means charging, while the green indicator means charging completed.
- If the battery power is less than 10%, it will flash once when turn on the light or switch the modes, and it will flash once every 30 seconds to remind the user to charge it.
HOW TO OPERATE
The button is located at the bottom of the product. It can be operated by pressing the flat part of the bottom, or by pressing the top of the cover provided that the product sits securely on a hard surface.
ON/OFF
Single click the button to turn on the light. Press and hold the button to
turn it off, and the last mode will be memorized.
CHANGE OUTPUT
When the light is on, single click to switch the modes. The circular order
is as following: White light (low) to White light (high) to Red to Green to
Blue to Fade between colors to Cycle between colors to Flashing red to OFF to
White light (low) etc…
SPECIAL MODE
The special mode is divided into “random” and “challenge” mode. The default
duration of the random mode is 30 seconds. By entering challenge mode and
passing levels, a longer random mode duration can be achieved.
NOTE: Only the highest level passed will be memorized.
RANDOM MODE
Keep pressing the button between 20 and 200 times with less than a 5
seconds interval and the product will randomly enter special mode with rapidly
spinning colors. The color spin gradually slows down, and after 30 seconds,
the Obulb MCs reverts to low white light automatically. If you want to re-
enter random mode, press the button between 20 and 200 times again.
CHALLENGE MODE
- Make sure the light is in any color mode excluding the random mode and then press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds to enter challenge mode with rapidly spinning colors. At this point, you can start clearing levels immediately. If you don’ t start, the Obulb MCs will exit challenge mode and revert to low white light after 5 seconds. Charging the product in the process will also cause it to exit the challenge mode.
- Keep pressing the button with about a 1s interval to clear levels. The first challenge level will be cleared when the interval between the initial button press and the second is within 1s±500ms. Each time the button is pressed again, the challenge level increases and so does the difficulty. You fail if the interval between pressing the button is too short or too long. When you fail, low white light is activated and the system records the highest level you have cleared. Each cleared level adds 10 seconds to the random mode.
- When you fail but want to continue the challenge, please continue pressing the button within about a 1 second interval. If you achieve the interval required by the first challenge level within 5 seconds, the challenge restarts at level 1 and the light starts rapidly spinning colors. When the reached level exceeds the previous record, the new record will be memorized and the random mode duration increases accordingly.
- If you didn’ t fail but stop pressing the button, the colors keep spinning rapidly for 10*X seconds (X refers to the highest level you have passed), after which the challenge mode is deactivated.
- The random mode duration is 30+10*X seconds where X refers to the highest level you have passed. After passing 100 levels, the random mode duration is unlimited.
WHITE LIGHT (LOW)
When the light is off, press and hold the button for less than 2 seconds to
access white light (low) directly.
LOCK/UNLOCK
When the light is off, press and hold the button for over 2 seconds, the
light will be locked out after a short flash. Under the lockout mode, if press
the button for less than one second, the light will be on with low white light
momentarily. To exit the lockout mode, press and hold the button for over one
second until the light is on with low white light after a quick blink.
MOTION SENSOR & STEPLESS DIMMING
The motion sensor will be on in the charging state. The light defaults to
off when the product is connected for the first time. After the ambient light
drops to the threshold of motion sensor, the product will light up white when
people come, and automatically turn off after 15 seconds when sensing nobody
moving. When the light is on, press and hold the button to carry out stepless
dimming. The stepless dimming range is 5%-100% when the battery power is
sufficient.
When the Obulb MCs is disconnected from the power source, the light will turn
off if it is currently activated and the motion sensor will be disabled.
MOTION SENSOR ON/OFF
In the white light (low) mode, press and hold the button for 3 seconds, the
red light means the motion sensor is turned off while the green light means
the motion sensor is turned on. Release the button and the red/green light
will turn off.
