Operation

It is recommended to always use the USB-C dock with your laptop’s power adapter connected to the USB-C PD charging port. This will provide power to the dock while also providing power to charge your laptop.
Connect the USB-C dock to your laptop by plugging the USB-C male connector into a USB-C port on your laptop. The dock is designed to connect to any laptop regardless of whether the USB-C port is on the left or right of the laptop.
Connect your laptop’s power adapter to the USB-C PD charging port. Supports up to 100W (20V 5A) power pass through.
Connect 1, 2, or 3 monitors to the HDMI or VGA ports. When using a single HDMI monitor, the max resolution is 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 @30Hz. When using two HDMI  monitors, the max resolution is 1920 x 1080 @60Hz. When using one HDMI and one VGA or two HDMI and one VGA, the max resolution is 1920 x 1080 @60Hz.
Windows computers support MST (Multi-Stream Transport) allowing you to extend your computer’s desktop to an additional 3 monitors.
This USB-C multi-port adapter supports MST and allows you to have one image on your computer and extend it to 3 other monitors with 3 different independent images.
Mac OS does not support MST. This adapter will not support dual monitors on Mac OS. Connect high-speed USB devices to the two USB 3.0 ports such as USB flash drives or portable HDDs. The maximum data transfer rate is 5Gbps.
Connect USB devices to the two USB 2.0 ports such as keyboards, mice, USB speakers or printers. The maximum data transfer rate is 480Mbps.
You can also use the two USB 3.0 ports to charge your phone or other USB devices. The maximum power output of each port is 5V 900mA. When both ports are used the maximum power output is 5V 1.5A. To charge a phone or a large external HDD that consumes a large amount of power, the laptop’s power adapter must be connected to the USB-C PD charging port.
Connect an RJ45 network cable to the RJ45 Gigabit LAN port.
This will connect your laptop to a wired network. The green LED indicates a connection to a network. The yellow LED indicates network activity.
Insert an SD or Micro SD memory card into the SD/Micro SD slots to transfer data. Both SD and Micro SD cards cannot be used at the same time.
Connect your headphones or speakers to the 3.5mm audio socket and enjoy stereo music directly from your laptop.

Trouble Shooting

If you are using the USB-C dock to charge your phone or connect a large external HDD or other USB devices that consume a large amount of power, you must connect your laptop’s power adapter.
If you are experiencing these connection problems, unplug and replug the USB-C dock.
If your laptop’s power adapter is disconnected, all device connections will be lost for a few seconds before reconnecting. During this time, data can be lost. Do not disconnect the power while transferring data to avoid data loss or corruption.
During operation, the USB-C dock may become hot. This is normal and should not be cause for concern. To minimize heat, please use the dock on a desk or table in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using soft pillows or blankets to avoid blocking the ventilation.
For a stable connection, do not connect multiple devices that consume large amounts of power. The dock will only support one external HDD and charge only one phone.
