Output up to 5V/2.4A.
Quick Start Guide
- Remove the 10-ft MC4 cable and desired adaptor from the pocket. Unfold
solar panel and release both kickstands. Place under the direct sun in an
unshaded area outside. See ‘Best Practice’ for more factors affecting panel
output.
2A) Output to USB: plug the USB cable into the junction box. Your device will start charging if the solar panel is producing power (indicated by the glowing LED light).
2B) Output to Power Station: if you are using a power station such as the Arc3 or Arcs, connect the integrated 10-ft MC4 cable with the MC4 to DC5525 adaptor cable. Insert the white-tipped plug into the power station port labeled “input”. Check the Arc screen to verify it is charging. To charge 3rd party power stations use the other adaptor tips provided.
2C) Output to 12V Battery System: plug the MC4 output from the solar panel into the charge controller, then connect the charge controller into the 12V battery system.
FAQs
How do conditions affect the charge?
Sun angle, panel angle, distance from the equator, clouds, shadows,
temperature, dirt, dust, and snow on the glass all affect the output of your
panel.
Does the solar panel contain a battery?
No, the solar panel does not contain a battery and cannot store power.
Is the Arc Solar120 compatible with other brands of power stations?
Yes, several adapters are included in the case.
Can I charge my smartphone directly from the solar panel?
Yes, you can charge your phone directly from the panel. A better solution is
to use the solar panel to charge an Arc power station then plug your phone
into the power station. The Arc will allow your phone to consistently draw the
power it needs.
Can I charge a lead-acid battery?
Yes, using a solar charge controller and alligator clip adapters.
How do I disconnect the MC4 cable?
MC4 cables are waterproof connections that take a little bit of force to
separate. Press the two indents together and pull.
Can I leave the panel out in the snow/rain?
The solar panel is waterproof but the junction box is not, it is best to keep
the Arc Solar120 out of the snow/rain.

Best Practice
Solar panels are very sensitive to many factors that affect their ability to
convert sunlight into energy.
Some factors are more obvious such as cloud cover and shade, while other
factors are less obvious like the angle of the panel, geographical latitude,
season, windows or dust. The choice of charge controller (MPPT or PWM) will
also impact how much power is produced.
These factors combined can reduce the power output of the panel depending on
conditions.

Arc Solar 120.
Parallel Setup
‘Note: Only connect panels as shown. connecting in series will increase the voltage and potentially harm your Dowerstation.
Connecting Two Solar Panels
Solar panel branch connectors are used to connect two solar panels together
for double the power output. This will speed up recharge times.
- Connect the positive from both solar panels to the positive branch connector.
- Connect the negative from both solar panels to the negative branch connector.
- Connect the Negative out and Positive out from the corresponding branch connectors into the output.
- then plug into your power station or device you are charging.
Second pane/ and branch connector sold separately
How to Disconnect MC4
To detach the MC4 connector apply force to the two pins and pull apart with both hands.
