POWER SOURCE:
Install or replacing the batteries when it is drained as follows:
- Open the battery door on the rear of the unit by pressing the tab and then lifting it as the illustrated below.
- Install two (2) x AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment follow polarity markings inside.
- Close the battery door.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:
Follow these Battery Precaution when using a battery in this device:
- Use only the size and type of battery specified.
- Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
- Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon‐zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
- If the batteries in the device is fully drained or the device is not being used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
- Do not try to recharge the battery it is not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions.)
- Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may be exploded or leaked.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
SETTING UP:
You must set up the Universal Remote before operating with your device as follows:
Setup with device code:

Power on your desired device (Ex: TV) as usual.

Find the four (4) digit device code for it in the attached Code List.

Press and hold the Code Search Button approximately 2 seconds until the LED Indicator is illuminated then release the button.

Press and release the corresponding device selection button on the Universal Remote (such as TV Button).

Enter the four (4) digit code for your device by pressing the numeric buttons. The LED Indicator will turn off.
(If the code is invalid, the Indicator will blink 5 times then auto exit. Repeat the setting procedures from 2‐5 again to reset a valid code.) -
Aim the Universal Remote to the remote sensor for you device then operating the device. If the device responds correctly, it means you have entered the right code.
NOTE:
If the codes provided do not work to pair the Universal Remote to your
device, try the following methods.
Auto Setting:

Power on your desired device (Ex:TV) as usual.

Press and hold the Code Search Button approximately 2 seconds until the LED Indicator is illuminated then release the button.

Press and release the corresponding device’s selection button of your device (such as TV Button).

Aim the Universal Remote to the remote sensor of your device, then press the POWER Button until the LED indicator is twinkling to turn off your device.
If it doesn’t work right away, check if right aim or reset from step 2. The A different infrared signal of “Power off” is sent every 4 seconds. -
Once your device is shut off, press the ENTER Button within 4 seconds to save the setting and exit.

Aim the Universal Remote to the remote sensor of your device then operate the device with the Universal Remote. If the device is responding correctly, it means you have right settings. Otherwise, set it again starting from step 2 or try the following setting methods.
Manual setting:
- Power on your device (EX: TV) as usual.
- Press and hold the Code Search Button approximately 2 seconds until the LED Indicator is illuminated then release the button.
- Press and release the corresponding device selection button for your desired device (Ex: TV Button).
- Aim the Universal Remote to the remote sensor for your device (such like TV) then press and release the POWER Button repeatedly to send different infrared signal of “Power off”.
- Once your device is shout off, press the ENTER Button within 4 seconds to save the setting and exit.
- Aim the Universal Remote to the remote sensor for your device (Ex: TV) then operation the device with the Universal Remote. If the device (Ex: TV) is responding correctly, it means you have set the remote to the correct settings.
OPERATION:
- Repeat the setting procedure until all desired devices (up to 4 devices) have been set.
- Press the desired device selection button (Ex: TV) on the Universal Remote.
- Aim the Universal Remote to the remote sensor of you device then operation the device with the Universal Remote.
NOTES:
- Buttons may be titled differently on your Universal Remote as it on the original manufacturer’s controller.
- Some of the buttons may not respond as your original remote.
- If the Universal Remote is not responding properly, you may want to reset the settings. Reset the Universal Remote by removing batteries from the Universal Remote for approximately 1 minute then insert the batteries back in to the Universal Remote.
- Remote Distance:
Remarks:
A. When there is an obstacle between the device and the Universal Remote, the
transmitter may not operate.
B. When the remote sensor of the device is shined directly under sunlight,
incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp or any other strong light, the operation
of Remote Control may be unstable.

Check the following before requesting service:

Craig Electronics warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects
in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 180 days from
date of purchase. If service is required, please return the product to the
store where it was purchased for exchange; or, pack the unit in the original
packing material with all accessories if applicable, a copy of your sales
receipt and a Cashier’s check or Money Order for $3 (to cover shipping and
handling costs) payable to Craig Electronics Inc. For consumers in Canada,
please make sure that the cashier check or money order is redeemable through a
U.S. bank. Ship your product freight pre-paid. Your unit will be repaired,
replaced or if the unit cannot be repaired or replaced, a refund will be
forwarded to you within four weeks of receipt of your unit. Please ship your

This warranty is void if the product has been: a) Used in a commercial
application or rental. b) Damaged through misuse, negligence, or abuse. c)
Modified or repaired by anyone other than an authorized Craig service center.
d) Damaged because it is improperly connected to any other equipment.
Note: This warranty does not cover: a) Ordinary adjustments as outlined
in the Owner’s Manual which can be performed by the customer. b) Damage to
equipment not properly connected to the product. c) Any cost incurred in
shipping the product for repair. d)
Damage to the product not used in the USA.
This warranty is not transferable and only applies to the original purchase.
Any implied warranties, including the warranty of merchantability, are limited
in duration to the period of this expressed warranty and no warranty whether
expressed or implied shall apply to the product thereafter.
Under no circumstance shall Craig be liable for any loss or consequential
damage arising out of the use of this product. This warranty gives specific
legal rights. However, you may have other rights which may vary from state to
state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion
of consequential damage. Therefore, these restrictions may not apply to you.

to this product.
