SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Check the product, power cord, plug and all accessories for any damage. Do not use the product if any parts are missing or damaged. Contact the retailer.
• Do not start the product before it is fully installed according to the instructions.
• The product is only intended for extra heating in the home.
• The product has an IP24 protection rating and can be used in bathrooms or laundry rooms. Do not place the product less than 1.5 m away from sources of water (bathtub, wash basin, toilet). Make sure that the product cannot drop into water, and that water cannot get into the product. Pull out the plug immediately if the product comes into contact with water or any other liquid.
• Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if the product has been in contact with water, is not working properly, or if it is damaged in any other way.
• Take the product to an authorised service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
• Never immerse the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock. Do not touch the product, the power cord or plug with wet hands.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate. The product must be connected to an earthed power point with a residual current device that has a maximum tripping current of 30 mA.
• Fully unwind the power cord before use. Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with any part of the heater and keep it away from other sources of heat. Do not lay the power cord under carpets or where it can be trod on. Make sure that there is no risk of tripping over it, or it being damaged or put under strain. Do not lay the power cord round a corner, or fold or wind too tightly when the product is not in use.
• Do not use an extension cord unless it is necessary – fire risk. An extension cord must be in good condition and of an approved type, with a minimum cross-sectional area of 3 x 1.5 mm².
• Connect the product to a separate power circuit.
• Do not use the product outdoors or in areas with a floor area of less than 10 m².
• Switch off the product before pulling out the plug. Never switch off the product by pulling out the plug.
• Do not use the product in an explosive environment, e.g. near flammable liquids, gas or dust.
• Do not place the product near or directly below a power outlet, or near a fire or other source of heat.
• Do not use the product near animals or place it near furniture, paper, curtains or other flammable materials – fire risk.
• Do not place the product closer than 1 metre to any flammable material.
• Never cover the product –fire risk. Keep the ventilation openings on the product clean to prevent overheating and the risk of fire. Do not put anything on the product or attempt to dry clothes on it.
• Make sure that air can circulate freely around the product. Do not place the product near walls or large objects, under furniture or in a cupboard, where there is poor circulation of air. The necessary free space for the exchange of air round the product is specified in the section on installation.
• Never insert foreign objects into the ventilation or outlet openings – risk of electric shock, fire and/or material damage.
• The product can be controlled manually or by remote control with a timer or app. Always follow the safety instructions, irrespective of how it is controlled.
• Switch off the product before pulling out the plug. Pull out the plug when the product is not in use. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
• Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and wait until all parts have completely cooled before handling, moving, cleaning and/or maintenance.
• Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders. Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. This product can be switched on/off by children from three to eight years old if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Do not allow children from three to eight years old to connect, use, clean or maintain the product without supervision.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the product provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
• Regarding how to be fixed rollers and feet to the heater, please refer to the assemble picture in the manual
• Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
• Any repairs should be carried out by an authorised service centre or other qualified personnel.
• The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions.
• Keep the product clean. Dust, dirt and deposits can cause overheating. Remove any impurities at regular intervals.

Note:

Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and/or material damage. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for personal injury or material damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions.

WARNING!

• Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

INSTALLATION

BEFORE INSTALLATION

• Remove all packaging material. Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children and pets risk of suffocation. Check the electric radiator, the power cord and plug for damage. Do not use the electric radiator if any parts are missing or damaged. Contact the retailer in the event of any problems.
• The electric radiator must be installed on a smooth, stable and vertical wall of heat resistant, non-flammable material. It must not be installed on wood or synthetic material.

IMPORTANT:

The electric radiator must be mounted on a wall. It must not be used as freestanding. Do not use the electric radiator before it is fully installed according to the instructions.

• Decide where to install the electric radiator. Make sure there is enough free space for the circulation of air round the eelectric radiator and that there is no flammable material nearby. Do not place the electric radiator behind a door. The bottom edge of the electric radiator must be at least 30 cm above the floor, the sides at least 30 cm from adjacent walls, and the top edge at least 150 cm from the lowest part of the ceiling.

INSTALLATION

• Fit the two brackets on the wall. Fit the left and right bracket turned towards each other, with the slot upwards and the short part to the wall. Drill two holes in the wall at the same height, at last 610 mm above the floor and 255 mm apart.

• Put screw plugs in the holes and screw the brackets to the wall with two large screws.
• Fit the other two brackets with two smaller screws on the underside of the electric radiator. Fit the brackets by screwing through the long part, with the short part facing down. The short part will rest on the wall.

• Hang up the electric radiator on the wall brackets and check that it drops into the slots.
• The short part of the two bottom brackets will rest on the wall. Mark out where on the wall they are to be mounted and lift off the electric radiator.

• Drill two holes at the markings and insert the screw plugs.
• Put the electric radiator on the brackets again and check that it drops into the slots. Screw the bottom brackets to the wall with two large screws.

• Check that the electric radiator is level and positioned at the minimum specified distance from the wall, ceiling and floor.

USE

PREPARATIONS AND USE

• Check that the power switch is switched off (O).
• Check that the electric radiator is firmly mounted and level on the wall according to the instructions.
• Plug the plug into a power point.
• Put the power switch in the ON position (I). The display shows OFF.

NOTE:

After a power failure, the radiator must be restarted and any settings made again.

USING THE CONTROL PANEL
There are 6 buttons on the control panel:

1. MOD
2. SET
3. WEEK
4. (+) increase set value
5. (-) reduce set value

6. power switchON/OFF

• Switch on the electric radiator by pressing the ON/OFF button. The display goes on and the electric radiator is ready to use.
• Set the date and time. Press the SET button until SET is shown in the display. The numbers for the week days (row 4) flash. Set the required week day with the buttons + and – (1 = Monday, 2 = Tuesday etc.) and confirm with the SET button. The hour numbers flash. Set the hours with the + and – buttons and confirm with the SET button. The minutes numbers flash. Set the minutes with the + and – buttons and confirm with the SET button. The date and time are now set.

NOTE:

The date and time settings are deleted if the plug is pulled out or if the electric radiator is switched off with the power switch, but not if the electric radiator is switched off with the ON/OFF button.

If no settings are made for the date and time, use the settings for day 1 and time 00.00.
The display goes off automatically after two minutes and goes on again when any button is pressed.

• Select M or P mode with the MOD button.
• In M mode the buttons + and – are used to set the required output (low, medium, high). It is not possible to set the thermostat.
• In P mode the buttons + and – are used to set the required set point temperature for the electric radiator. Low is used if the room temperature is 1–2°C lower than the set point temperature, Medium is used if the room temperature is 3–5°C lower than the set point temperature, High is used if the room temperature is 6°C , or more, lower than the set point temperature. The electric radiator switches off automatically when the set point temperature is reached and switches on again when the set point temperature drops.
• The week timer can be used in P mode. Press the WEEK button to set or control the week timer.

NOTE:

The date and time must be set for the week timer to work properly.

SETTING WEEK TIMER

• • Press and hold the WEEK button. 01 flashes in the display. Use the + and – buttons to select 01 (single setting) or ][ (repeat every week). Confirm with the SET button.

NOTE:

• Single settings (mode 01) must fall within the present week. All single settings (mode 01) are disabled on Sunday (day 7) at 24.00. Settings made on a Tuesday for Saturday work, but settings made on a Saturday for a Tuesday do not.
• Single settings (mode 01) are only used once, but disabled timer settings are stored in one of the 4 available memories for the day in question. It can be better to delete the setting (see below).
• ON flashes. Select ON or OFF with the buttons + and – to enable or disable the preheating function. When ON is selected the electric radiator controls the room temperature 20 minutes before the set time. If the temperature is 6°C, or more, below the set point temperature the electric radiator starts with a high output, so that the set point temperature will be reached before the set time. If the room temperature is 3–5°C lower than the set point temperature a medium output is used, and a low output is used if the room temperature is 1–2°C lower than the set point temperature. Select OFF to disable the preheating function. Confirm with the SET button.

NOTE:

The settings for single or repeated settings and for preheating on or off apply for all timer settings.

• 01 SET ON is shown in the display to set the time to start the timer setting 1. Set the week day with the buttons + and –. Confirm with the SET button.
• The temperature (standard setting 25°C) flashes in the display. Set the temperature from 0 to 37°C with the + and – buttons and confirm with the SET button.
• The hour numbers flash. Set the hours with the + and – buttons and confirm with the SET button.
• The minutes numbers flash. Set the minutes with the + and – buttons and confirm with the SET button. The date and time for the first start are now set.
• 01 SET OFF is shown in the display to set the time to switch off the timer setting 1. Make the required settings according to the instructions above. The first timer setting is now complete.
• 02 flashes in the display. If you want to, do the settings for the next timer setting. A total of 4 timer settings per day can be made (28 per week). If no more timer settings are to be made, wait until the display returns to standard mode.
• Start the radiator with the ON/OFF button. P and OFF are shown in the display to show that a timer setting has been made with the electric radiator switched off. The electric radiator starts/switches off automatically at the set time.
• The timer settings are stored even if the plug is unplugged or if the electric radiator is switched off with the power switch.
• Press the WEEK button repeatedly to show the timer settings in the following order:

1. Single or repeated setting
2. Preheating on/off
3. Thermostat setting
4. Time to start
5. Time to stop
6. Next timer setting

• To delete a timer setting, press and hold the WEEK button and then go to the required timer setting. Go past 01- ][ and ON/OFF by tapping the button SET. When the number for the required timer setting is shown, press the SET until a short audio prompt indicates that the setting is deleted.
• Press and hold the WEEK button to delete all timer settings. Press and hold the MOD and SET buttons until an audio prompt is given. The display shows 88:88 to indicate that all the settings have been deleted.

NOTE:

It is not possible to delete all the timer settings with the remote control, only with the buttons on the control panel.

• To disable timer settings without deleting them, press and hold the WEEK button and then the MOD button until TIME goes off the display, to show that the settings are stored but not enabled. Enable the timer settings again by pressing the MOD button until TIME is shown in the display.

IMPORTANT:

If no buttons are pressed within two minutes the LED display goes off, but ON is still shown. The display goes on again when any button is pressed. If the electric radiator is switched off with the ON/OFF button, OFF is shown in the display.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control has the same 6 buttons as the control panel (MOD = MODE) and works in the same way, with the following exceptions:

• In M mode it is not possible to set the output with the + and – buttons. Use the oblong button on the remote control for this.
• The remote control has an ECO button for energy save mode, where the radiator maintains the room temperature at 16°C. EC is shown in the display. Disable energy save mode by pressing the ECO button again. No other settings can be made in this mode.

NOTE:

• If the start time for a timer setting is reached when the electric radiator is in ECO mode, the electric radiator switches over to working according to the timer setting.
• The electric radiator does NOT return to ECO mode at the stop time, but switches off.
• Faint sound can be heard when the electric radiator is switched off. This is quite normal. The sound is caused by movement in the material when the electric radiator cools.

MAINTENANCE

SAFETY

• The electric radiator has a tilt guard, which switches it off the electric radiator it drops down. The electric radiator starts again when it is put in a vertical position.
• If the electric radiator is switched off the tilt guard, switch it off with the power switch, pull out the plug, and check that the electric radiator is not damaged. Do not use the electric radiator if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug are damaged. Take the electric radiator to an authorised service centre, or other qualified personnel, to be checked and/or repaired.
• The overheating protection switches off the electric radiator if it gets too hot. This can occur if the circulation of air around the electric radiator is not sufficient, for example if the electric radiator is covered over, or placed too near walls or other objects, or if the inlet and/or outlet openings are blocked. The electric radiator starts again when it has cooled, but if the reason for the overheating is not rectified it will overheat again. In the event of overheating, switch off the electric radiator with the power switch and pull out the plug. Wait until the electric radiator has completely cooled, rectify the reason for the overheating, and then use the electric radiator as usual. If the electric radiator overheats repeatedly without any visible reason, switch off the electric radiator with the power switch and pull out the plug. Take the electric radiator to an authorised service centre, or other qualified personnel, to be checked and/or repaired.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Keep the electric radiator clean. Remove dust and dirt that can cause overheating at regular intervals. Switch off the electric radiator, unplug the plug and allow the electric radiator to cool before cleaning and/or maintenance.

Cleaning

• Wipe the outside of the electric radiator at regular intervals with a damp cloth. Do not use strong or abrasive detergents, wax or polish.
• If the electric radiator is installed on a wall, lift it off at regular intervals and clean behind it.
• Clean the inlet and outlet grilles with a vacuum cleaner at regular intervals. Be careful not to touch or damage any internal parts when cleaning.
• No other parts of the electric radiator require maintenance.
• If the electric radiator is not going to be used for some time, clean it, and put it in the original pack if possible. Store standing up in a dry, cool and dust-free place.
