Operation

Intended Use
The solar aerator is designed for use in fountains, ponds or outdoors. The pump drives its electric motor directly from a solar module. For the ventilator to work, the solar module must be exposed to direct sunlight. The performance of the ventilator depends on the time of year and the position of the solar panel.

Assembling and Setting up

  • Unpack and check all components.
  • Use the enclosed air hose to connect the aeration stone to the outlet opening on the cylindrical part of the pump.
  • Place the aerator on the surface of the water and place the aeration stone under the water.
Attention: Do not strike the solar panel

Handling Solar Aerators

  • The performance of the solar aerator varies depending on the season, depending on the duration and strength of the sunlight received.
  • Make sure that the solar panel is not dirty or covered by snow and ice in winter. This reduces the performance of the solar panel. If you do not need the solar aerator for a long time, e.g. in winter, it should be cleaned and stored in a dry, warm room.

Cleaning and Maintenance
The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum conversion of the sun’s energy into direct current. Use a soft brush to remove fouling or debris from the pump and aeration stone as needed.
