CODE READY TECHNOLOGY™ ACTIVATION
The Code Ready Technology option allows changing the factory setting blower
output to less than 300 CFM. Activating the CRT option will reduce the airflow
so that the hood will perform within the allowable limit of Make-Up Air (MUA)
codes (to meet some building code requirements). Do not change the blower CFM
setting unless this change is required by code. This change will alter the
performance of the product.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This change CAN NOT be reverted.
HOW TO ACTIVATE CRT:
-
Be sure the range hood is OFF.
-
If needed, you can first verify which setting the hood is currently in. To do so:
– Press and hold keys “ B ” and “ C ” simultaneously for 6 seconds and release. Different combinations of LED indicators “ 1 ” through “ 3 ” will turn ON for 3 seconds, depending on the setting.
If set at 400 CFM (factory setting), LEDs “ 1 ”, “ 2 ”, and “ 3 ” will light up.
If set at 300 CFM, LED “ 1 ” will light up. -
To change the setting, press and hold keys “ B ” and “ C ” simultaneously for 6 seconds and release, then:
To set the range hood at 300 CFM, press “ A ” until LED “ 1 ” alone flashes. -
Within 3 seconds, press key “ B ” to save and leave CRT activation mode.
-
Locate the CRT sticker near the HVI Certification label inside the hood, behind the filters. Check the proper box (300 CFM).
NOTES: – If no button is touched for more than 3 seconds while the hood is in CRT activation mode, the hood will exit the setting mode without saving the changes.
– An interruption of power to the range hood will not deactivate the CRT.
