SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • For indoor use only.

  • Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact the retailer for repairs.

  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug before removing the filter, cleaning, service, or moving the product.

  • If the power cord or plug is damaged they must be replaced by an authorized service center to ensure safe use.

  • Pull out the plug if the product is not going to be used for some time.

  • Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.

  • Do not touch the product, the power cord or plug with wet hands.

  • Do not press too hard on the control panel, this can damage the product.

  • Never put objects on top of the product.

  • Never poke any objects in the air openings on the product.

  • Do not overexpose the product to direct sunlight.

  • Do not use the product in a bathroom, in other very humid areas, or where there is a risk of splashing.

  • Do not place the product on an uneven or sloping surface.

  • Do not use the product in a kitchen, or other areas, or where there is hot oil.

  • Never modify the power cord or plug in any way. Do not use an extension cord. Connect the product to a separate power circuit. An incorrect connection to the mains supply can result in a risk of fire and/or electric shock.

  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  • Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.

  • Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug if the product tips over when in use. Check for any visible damage to the product. Contact an authorized service center or other qualified personnel if the product is damaged.

  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug during thunderstorms – lightning can damage the product.

  • The product complies with a maximum ozone content of 0.050 ppmv (parts per million by volume) during a 24-hour period.

  • Do not route the power cord under carpets etc. Do not route the power cord under furniture or other products.

  • Place the power cord so that there is no risk of treading on it, or tripping over it.
    – Do not use the product if the power cord or plug is damaged. Discard the product or take it to an authorized service center to be checked and/or repaired.

  • The product is only intended for household use.

  • Do not use or store the product in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gas or dust – risk of fire and/or explosion.

INSTALLATION

FILTER ELEMENT

Follow steps 1 to 3 in the figures below.

Replacement of filter unit

  1. Remove the old filter element.
  2. Cut the new filter element out of the packaging.
  3. Put the new filter element in the product.

HOW TO USE

POSITIONING

For best performance and uninterrupted signal transfer the air purifier should be placed at least 30 cm from a wall and furniture, and at least 50 cm from metal objects and electrical appliances.

Power switch

POWER

| Start and switch off the air purifier by pressing the POWER switch.
Timer (intermittent operation)

TIMER

| Press the TIMER switch repeatedly to switch between 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 handoffs.
Fan/air purification

FAN

| • Press the FAN button repeatedly to switch between Turbo, High, Mid, and Low.

• Press the button for three seconds to go to auto mode. Press again to exit.

Sleep function

SLEEP

| • Press the SLEEP button to activate or deactivate sleep mode.

• The status lamp goes on when sleep mode is activated.

Ion function

ION

| Press the ION button to activate or deactivate ion mode.
Filter

Filter

| The filter should be cleaned when the filter light flashes.
Press the ION button for three seconds to reset the filter run time counter when the filter has
been cleaned and replaced.
NOTE: In automatic mode, the air purifier automatically adjusts the purification to the
the signal from the dust sensor (concentration of dust).
Air quality

PM 2.5

| PM 2.5 (microns) is the minimum size of particles that the air purifier can filter. The light indicates the quality of the air in the room.
• Green – Good air
• Orange – Medium
• Red – Poor air

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING/REPLACEMENT OF FILTER ELEMENT

  • Clean the filter element when the filter status light flashes.
  • Clean the filter element with a soft brush.
  • If the filter element is damaged, or after cleaning does not filter well, it should be replaced.
  • Put the filter element in the air purifier according to the instructions “Replacement of filter unit”.
  • After inserting the filter, press the ION button for three seconds to reset the filter run time counter.

NOTE:

  • Switch off the air purifier and pull out the plug before removing the filter, or cleaning.
  • Do not rinse the filter element with water.
  • If the air purifier is used where there is tobacco smoke or cooking, the filter the element can after a few months, or in some cases after a few weeks, begin to smell. In such conditions the filter, the element should be cleaned at intervals of two to five days. Replace the filter element if it continues to smell.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible cause Action
The air purifier does not start. The plug is not plugged in, or plugged in
properly. Plug the plug correctly into a live PowerPoint.
The switch is not switched on. Press the power switch button.
Inadequate cleaning – the smell of oil, cooking, etc. does not go away. The
filter element is the wrong way round. Insert the filter element correctly.
The filter element has reached the end of its useful life. Replace the filter

element.
The Air inlet is blocked.| Remove blockage from air inlet.
The filter status light does not go off.| After replacing or cleaning the filter element the ION button has not been pressed for 3 seconds to reset the run time counter.| Press the ION button for 3 seconds to reset the run time counter.
Smell and smoke is not removed.| The filter element has been put in the air purifier without removing the packaging.| The filter element has been put in the air purifier without removing the packaging.
