SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  •  Check the product, power cord, plug and all accessories for any damage. Do not use the product if any parts are missing or damaged. Contact the retailer.

  •  Do not start the product before it is fully installed according to the instructions.

  •  The product is only intended for extra heating in the home.

  •  The product has an IP24 protection rating and can be used in bathrooms or laundry rooms. Do not place the product less than 1.5 m away from sources of water (bathtub, wash basin, toilet). Make sure that the product cannot drop into water, and that water cannot get into the product. Pull out the plug immediately if the product comes into contact with water or any other liquid.

  •  Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if the product has been in contact with water, is not working properly, or if it is damaged in any other way.

  •  Take the product to an authorised service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.

  •  Never immerse the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock. Do not touch the product, the power cord or plug with wet hands.

  •  Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate. The product must be connected to an earthed power point with a residual current device that has a maximum tripping current of 30 mA.

  •  Fully unwind the power cord before use. Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with any part of the heater and keep it away from other sources of heat. Do not lay the power cord under carpets or where it can be trod on. Make sure that there is no risk of tripping over it, or it being damaged or put under strain. Do not lay the power cord round a corner, or fold or wind too tightly when the product is not in use.

  •  Never cover the product – fire risk. Keep the ventilation openings on the product clean to prevent overheating and the risk of fire. Do not put anything on the product or attempt to dry clothes on it.

  •  Make sure that air can circulate freely around the product. Do not place the product near walls or large objects, under furniture or in a cupboard, where there is poor circulation of air. The necessary free space for the exchange of air round the product is specified in the section on installation.

  •  Never insert foreign objects into the ventilation or outlet openings – risk of electric shock, fire and/or material damage.

  •  The product can be controlled manually or by remote control with a timer or app. Always follow the safety instructions, irrespective of how it is controlled.

  •  Switch off the product before pulling out the plug. Pull out the plug when the product is not in use. Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.

  •  Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and wait until all parts have completely cooled before handling, moving, cleaning and/or maintenance.

  •  The product gets hot when in use. Do not touch hot parts – risk of getting burned.

  •  Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders. Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. This product can be switched on/off by children from three to eight years old if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Do not allow children from three to eight years old to connect, use, clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  •  Keep children less than 3 years old under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.

  •  The product can be switched on/off by children from 3 to 8 years old only if it is mounted in the correct position to use, and if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Do not allow children from 3 to 8 years old to use, clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  •  This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or • Keep children less than
    3 years old under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.

  •  The product can be switched on/off by children from 3 to 8 years old only if it is mounted in the correct position to use, and if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Do not allow children from 3 to 8 years old to use, clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  •  This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. Do not allow children to use, clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  •  A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or other qualified personnel to ensure safe use.

  •  Keep the product clean. Dust, dirt and deposits can cause overheating. Remove any impurities at regular intervals.

  •  Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

  •  Any repairs should be carried out by an authorised service centre or other qualified personnel.

  •  The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions.

  •  Do not place the product directly below a power outlet.

  •  This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer or his service agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leak.

  •  When scrapping the heater, follow the regulations concerning the disposal of oil.

NOTE:

Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk of fire, electric shock, personal injury and/or material damage. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for personal injury or material damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions.

WARNING!

Some parts of the product get very hot – risk of burn injuries. Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.

INSTALLATION

BEFORE INSTALLATION
Remove all packaging material. Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children and pets – risk of suffocation. Check the electric radiator, the power cord and plug for damage. Do not use the electric radiator if any parts are missing or damaged. Contact the retailer in the event of any problems.

  1.  Turn the product upside down.
  2.  Align the mounting holes in the wheel unit to the screws on the bracket on the end radiator fin, and then fit the other wheel unit on the other end.
  3.  Lock the wheel units in place with the 4 wing nuts. Screw tight and stand up the product on the wheels in the required place.

USE

PREPARATIONS AND HOW TO USE

  •  Check that the power cord and plug are intact and undamaged.
  •  Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate. The product must only be connected to a correctly earthed power point.

STARTING AND POWER SETTING

STARTING

Plug in, turn the temperature dial to “+”, and set the power dial to the required mode. The product starts.

RUN/STANDBY

Plug in the plug. The buzzer gives a long audio prompt. Press the power switch to start the product in standby mode. Press the switch again to continue in standby mode.

MODE SETTING

Press the button to select run mode (high,  medium or low).

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE

When the product is on, press the “+” button or “–” to set the temperature. Press and hold “+” or “–” to change the value. If no buttons are pressed for 5 seconds the setting is automatically saved.

TIMED START

Press the timer button instandby mode to set the timer. Press the “+” or “–” button to set the time. Press and hold “+” or “–” to change the value. The product starts after the set time.

TIMED SWITCHING OFF

When the product is on, press the timer button to set the timer. Press the “+” or “–” button to set the time. Press and hold “+” or “–” to change the value. The product goes into standby mode after the set time.

  •  Possible timer settings are from 0 to 24 hours. The settings increase or decrease by one hour each time the button is pressed. When the value shown is 0H, press the “–” button to switch to 24H. When the value shown is 24H, press the “+” button to switch to 0H. The timer is deactivated when the set value is 0H. The timer is activated when the set value is over 0H. Set the required time and press the button or , or wait 5 seconds to exit settings mode.
  •  When the timer is set it can be deactivated by putting the product in standby mode with the power switch .
  •  When the timer is activated, press the button to check the time left or to reset the set time. When the product is in timer mode it is started and stopped by the thermostat, depending on the ambient temperature, in the same way as in normal run mode. The timer is reset to zero if there is a power failure.

MEMORY FUNCTION

After a power failure the product runs in the mode that was activated before the last standby period.

SAFETY FUNCTIONS

If the ambient indoor temperature Th is higher than 50°C in standby mode or run mode, all outputs are switched off, 10 long audio prompts are given, and the display shows FF and flashes at 1 Hz for 75 seconds. The product cannot be restarted when the safety function is activated, even if the ambient temperature drops below 50°C. Reset by switching off and starting the product with the power switch. After this the product can be used as usual.

SWITCHING OFF

When the product is on, press the power switch on the control panel to put the product in standby mode. Pull out the plug and wait until the product has cooled. Check that the product is stable.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Keep the radiator fins clean and free from dust, which can affect the emission of heat.
  •  Switch off the product, pull out the plug and allow it to cool, and wipe off dust and dirt with a damp cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasive agents or utensils.
  •  Avoid scratching the paint, this can cause the radiator fins to corrode.
