Turn On:
Insert the Type-C power cable to BTS808’s power input port, set the right
side button to RX or TX mode, then the product will turn on automatically, and
the LCD screen will light up.
Turn Off:
Turn off the power supply or set the right side button to OFF mode, the
BT5808 will turn off, and LCD screen light also be off.
Time-out Screen Saver:
In power-on status, if no any operation within 5 minutes, the display will
reduce the brightness automatically.
Receive/Transmit Switch:
TX=-Bluetooth transmit mode;
RX-Bluetooth receive mode;
Note: TX mode is also compatible with Bypass mode.
Optical Fiber Audio/Stereo Switching:
SPDIF-Optical Fiber Digital Audio;
AUX-3.5mm Stereo Analog Audio;
RX Mode:
Double click the pairing button to change the output audio format
AUX/SPDIF, and then connect the related cable(RX output/RX optical) according
to the LCD screen’s AUX/SPDIF mode.
TX / Bypass Mode:
Double click the pairing button to change the input audio format AUX/SPDIF,
then connect the related audio cable(TX input/TX optical) according to the LCD
screen’s AUX/SPDIF mode.
HD/LL decoder selection switch:
RX Mode: The mobile phone or bluetooth transmitter with Aptx HD and Aptx- LL decoding function, you could switch to Aptx HO or Aptx-LL decoder before power on the bluetooth receiver, and then turn on the device to connect it.
TX Mode: If the connected receiver has Aptx HD and Aptx-LL decoding function, it can switch to Aptx HD or Aptx-LL decoder by switching the button.
RECEIVIER MODE
How to use?
- Turn on BT5808, switch to RX mode, use 3.5mm audio cable or optical cable to connect the RX AUX or RX optical port to your amplifier/Non-Bluetooth speakers.
- After BTS5808 is powered on, the display screen will flash with “Reconnecting” to indicate that the BTS808 is entered the reconnecting mode; (if there is no record of paired device, it will enter the paring mode directly after the BT5808 powered on)
- Press the pairing button for about 2 seconds, the screen will flash with “Pairing State” , and the BT5808 entering the pairing mode.
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your smart phone, search the Bluetooth name “BT5808″ , select and connect it. After the connect is successful the screen will lights up and display the connected mobile phone name.
Note l: The Bluetooth password is “0000” if your phone requires it.
Note 2: When the display is in AUX mode, please use 3.5mm AUX
cable; When the display is in SPDIF mode, please use fiber optical cable.
Connect Two Mobile Phones:
- After the first mobile phone is connected successfully, press the pairing button for 2 seconds, and the BT5808 will enter the pairing mode, the display screen will flash with “Pairing State” .
- Open the Bluetooth function of the second mobile phone, search for BT5808. After the successful connection of the mobile phone, the display screen “B” lights up, and displays the device name of the connected mobile phone.
Note: when the receiver is restarted after successful connection, the device will automatically connect to the last connected cell phone. (But make sure you tum on Bluetooth on your phone before turning on the receiver.)
Enter Paring Mode:
In standby or reconne ct mode, long press the pairing button for 2s then
BT5808 enters pairing mode, the LCD screen will flash with “Pairing State” .
Play Music:
Play/Pause: Short press the ON/OFF button;
Next SONG: Long press “+” button;
Previous SONG: Long press “-” button:
Volume UP: Short press the”+” button.
Volume down: short press the”-” button.
TRANSMITTER MODE
How to use?
- Switch to TX mode, use 3.5mm audio cable or optical cable to connect the TX AUX or TX optical port to your audio source.
- After turn on BTS5808, the screen will flash with “Reconnecting” BT5808 enters the reconnecting mode.(If there is no last device connected record, BT5808 will enter pairing mode after power on)
- Long press pairing button for 2s, the screen will flash with “Pairing State” .
- Power on your Bluetooth receiver, far away BT5808 from 1 meter, it will automatically to pairing.
- After the pairing is successful, the LCD screen will always ON.
NOte: When the display is in AUX mode, please use 3.5mm AUX cable; When the display is in SPDIF mode, please use fiber optical cable.
Connect Two Bluetooth Receiver
- After the first Bluetooth receiver is successfully paired , long press the pairing button for 2s and BT5808 will flash with “Pairing State” .
- Power on the second Bluetooth receiver, far away BT5808 from 1 meter, it will pairing automatically.
- After pairing is successful, the LCD screen will always ON.
- Now BT5808 connect two Bluetooth receiver simultaneously.
Play Music:
Volume UP: Long press or short press “+” button:
Volume down: Long press or short press “-” button;
Bypass Mode:
In Bluetooth transmitter mode, if you need to put input audio to external
power amplifier, just connect BT5808 audio output port to amplifier input
audio port via a 3.5mm AUX cable or optical cable.
Note: The output audio should be selected according to the input audio source.
Manual Select Connection/Disconnection
Manual Connection:
- Long press the multifunction button for 2s, the LCD screen will light up.
- Select “+” or “-” to connect your device.
- Select the device name and short press multifunction button BTS808 will connect your device automatically. (If BT5808 has paired with two device or the selected device does not open Bluetooth function, it will fail to connect.)
- After the connection is successfully, long press multifunction button to exit menu.
Manual Disconnection:
- Long press the multifunction button for 2s, the LCD screen will light up.
- Select “+” or “=” to connect your device.
- Select the device name and double press multifunction button BT5808 will disconnect your device automatically.
- After the disconnection is successfully, long press multifunction button to exit menu.
Note:
- If there is no pairing record on the screen, long press Multifunction button has no effect.
- 30 seconds without operation will exit the select menu.
- After enter select menu, music control button has no effect.
BLUETOOTH RECONNECTION
RX/TX Mode Reconnection:

Power-on Reconnection:
Power-on will enter reconnection mode, LCD screen will flash showing “Reconnecting®, if fail to reconnected will always in reconnecting mods. -
Out Of Bluetooth Range:
Over Bluetooth range, Bluetooth disconnected, LCD screen flash showing “Reconnecting* and will always in reconnecting mode if fail to reconnected.(When connecting two device, one of device out of Bluetooth range and disconnected BT5808 won’t enter reconnect mode.)
Clear Bluetooth Pairing list:
In Power-On Mode, long press pair button about 7 seconds, until LCD screen flash showing “Clearing Paired Device List.
Warning:
- Please use Type-C cable+5V adapter to power supply to avoid abnormal product work;
- Bluetooth’s wireless signals will be blocked and absorbed by surroundings, try to put it in a barrier-free position with connected bluetooth device so that you can enjoy better music.
