SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not expose the battery to naked flames or high temperatures.
- The lamp and solar panel are weather-resistant but do not immerse them in water or any other liquid.
- Do not look directly into the lamp when it is switched on.
- Do not use the lamp if the chimney is damaged.
- The light sources are not replaceable. If the lamp stops working it must be discarded.
- Do not attempt to charge batteries with a battery charger that is connected to the mains, and do not attempt to run the solar lamp from the mains.
Rechargeable batteries
IMPORTANT: When replacing batteries – only use rechargeable batteries.
- Always buy the correct size and type of battery intended for this purpose.
- Remove the batteries from the lamp if it is not going to be used for some time.
- Recycle used batteries in accordance with local regulations.

DESCRIPTION

ASSEMBLY
Make sure to put the lamp where it will get as much sunlight as possible. Note that trees and buildings etc. can put the solar panel in the shade and affect its charging capacity.
Mounting on gutter
- Fit the fastener on the gutter with the wing screw.
- Put the lamp on the fastener.
- Fasten the lamp to the fastener with a screw.
Mounting on wall
- Mark out on the wall where the fastener is to be mounted.
- Drill hole.
- If necessary, insert the supplied plug in the drilled hole.
- Mount the fastener on the wall with a screw.
- Put the lamp on the fastener.

Mounting on fence
- Mark out on the fence where the fastener is to be mounted.
- Drill hole.
- Mount the fastener on the fence with a screw.
- Put the lamp on the fastener.
- Fasten the lamp to the fastener with a screw.
USE
- Before the lamp can shine at full capacity the solar panel must have charged the battery in direct sunlight for 8–12 hours with the switch in the ON position.
- The switch must be in the ON position for the lamp to shine.
MAINTENANCE
- Clean the solar panel regularly with a damp cloth. This ensures optimum capacity and battery charging.
- Never allow abrasive substances or materials to come into contact with the solar panel.
Replacing the battery
- Put the switch in the OFF position.
- Use a screwdriver to undo the three screws holding the battery cover.
- Replace the battery with a new one.
- Replace the battery cover and screw tight.
- Put the switch in the ON position.
- Charge the battery in direct sunlight for maximum lighting up time.
