  FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
1 Power LED On: The device is powered on.

Off: The device is powered off.

2| Status LED| Blinking: The device is working properly.

Off: The device is not working properly.

3| HDCP LED| On: HDCP protected content is being transmitted.

Blinking: Non-HDCP protected content is being transmitted.

Off: No content is being transmitted.

4| Link LED| On: HDBT link is normal.

Off/Blinking: No HDBT link or link error.

  REAR PANEL DESCRIPTION
5 DC 18V Locking power port, connect to the DC 18V power adapter provided.

Note : When the receiver is connected to a transmitter with bi- directional PoC function supported, only one power adapter is needed to be connected to transmitter/receiver to power both units.

6| HDBT IN| Connect to the transmitter via a Cat 5e/6/6a/7 cable.
7| IR IN| Connect to the IR receiver provided.
8| IR OUT| Connect to the IR emitter provided.
9| RS232| For RS232 pass-through.
10| HDMI OUT| Connect to an HDMI display using an HDMI cable.

Mounting Bracket Installation

Note: Before installation, please ensure the unit is disconnected from the power source.

  1. Remove the screws from one side panel of the unit.
  2. Attach the installation bracket to the enclosure using the screws that were provided in the package separately. The bracket height can be adjusted up/down or bracket face up or down.
  3. The bracket is attached to the enclosure as shown.
  4. Repeat steps 1-2 for the other side of the unit.
  5. Attach the brackets to the surface you want to mount to using screws (not included).

Wiring

Warnings:

  • Before wiring, disconnect the power from all devices.
  • During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.

Steps for device wiring:

  1. Connect an HDMI source (such as PC, Blu-ray player, Apple TV, 4K media player, etc) to the HDMI IN of the transmitter using an HDMI cable.
  2. Connect an HDMI display device (such as TV, projector, LED/LCD display) to the HDMI OUT of the receiver using an HDMI cable.
  3. Connect HDBT OUT of the transmitter to HDBT IN of the receiver using a Cat 5e/6/6a/7 cable.
  4. Connect the IR emitter to IR OUT of the transmitter/receiver, and the IR receiver to IR IN of the receiver/transmitter; secure the IR emitter head over the center of the source device/display IR window.
  5. Connect the power adapter provided to either the transmitter or receiver and lock the power adapter to the power connector by twisting the locking collar clockwise.
  6. Power on all attached devices.

When all is set, check if all LED indicators on the transmitter and receiver are normal to ensure installation is successful. For LED indication, please refer to Panel Description section.

RS232 Pass-through

RS232 port can be used for bi-directional RS232 signal pass-through between the transmitter and receiver.

Steps to set up for RS232 pass-through:

  1. Connect a RS232 Master (or Slave) Device to RS232 port of the transmitter with a RS232 cable.
  2. Connect a RS232 Slave (or Master) Device to RS232 port of the receiver with a RS232 cable.
  3. Connect HDBT OUT of the transmitter to HDBT IN of the receiver with a Cat 5e/6/6a/7 cable.
    When all is set, RS232 signal can be passed through bi-directionally between two RS232 devices.

Important Safety Information

Do not plug the unit in any outlet that does not have enough current to allow the device to function. Refer to the specifications in this manual for power level of the unit.

Liquid: If this unit or it’s corresponding power adapter has had liquid spilled on or in it, do not attempt to use the unit. Do not attempt to use this product in an outdoor environment as elements such as rain, snow, hail, etc. can damage the product.

In case of a storm, it is recommended that you unplug this device from the outlet.

Avoid placing this product next to objects that produce heat such as portable heaters,  space heaters, or heating ducts.

THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS. Do not attempt to open this product and expose the internal circuitry. If you feel that the product is defective, unplug the unit and refer to the warranty information section of this manual.
