- Do not lean back against the toilet lid.
- Keep the toilet upright, do not tip upside down or allow the toilet to tip over.
- Keep the toilet away from sharp objects that could pierce the tanks.
Intended use
This portable toilet is designed to be used with a proprietary toilet chemical specifically designed for use in portable toilets.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from
- Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
- Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer

Technical description
The portable toilet comprises of two detachable tanks. The top section is a
combined flush water tank and toilet bowl with a toilet seat and lid. The
lower section is the waste holding tank.
The PortaFlush 10 has a 10 liter waste holding tank and the PortaFlush 20 has
a 20 liter waste holding tank.
NOTICE!
If required a rinse chemical can be added to the fresh water. Always follow
the manufacturers instructions. Never use toilet waste chemical in the top
freshwater tank as it can damage the seals.

Using the toilet
Preparation for use

For winter use it is possible to purchase portable toilet antifreeze. It is important that antifreeze is added to the flush water tank when freezing conditions are expected.
NOTICE!
Only use antifreeze designed for portable toilets. Do not use car or any other
type of antifreeze as this may permanently damage the toilet.
Using the toilet

Use the toilet with the valve open or closed, fig.5.

Flush the toilet with open valve after use
Emptying

Empty the waste holding tank, fig. 6.

Wash the tank out with fresh water and prepare the toilet for use (fig.3 and fig.4)
Storing
If the toilet is not being used for an extended period store the toilet with clean and dry tanks
Cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE’
- Never use household cleaners (bleach, solvents or other powerful agents).
- Do not use an abrasive cleaner as this will scratch the surface.
- Clean the toilet with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a suitable plastic cleaner.
- Buff with a dry cloth.
- Clean the seals and the valve blade and, if necessary, lubricate with a seal lubricant.
NOTICE!
The valve seal is a part that is subject to wear and tear. Depending upon use,
it will need to be replaced when it starts to become ineffective.
Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please
contact the manufacturer’s branch in your country
(see kampaoutdoors.com/store-locator) or your retailer.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents
when you send in the device:
- A copy of the receipt with purchase date
- A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Disposal
Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins, wherever possible
If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling center or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations
